Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in the low 70's this afternoon. I may still be coughing but I have to get some stuff done today. So it's off to the grocery here in a few and then over to Wal-Mart for a few things. Then back home to do some cleaning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Here is a picture of my 2 rescue dogs. Maris (brown and white dog) was the one we found wandering the streets in our neighborhood. She would come visit me everyday at my house for nearly a month before I took her in. We have had her now for over a year and no more wandering the streets! Niles, the chihuahua, was adopted from the animal shelter back in March. He was a scraggly little mess, hurt leg and underweight. He is doing fantastic now and plumped up a bit! They are best buddies!!! They are my best buddies too!!!

That is soooo sweet!!!!!

I agree ~ bring on the weekend! Although we have our neighbor boys wedding on Saturday, so that pretty much takes up the day! It's supposed to be soooo beautiful outside (which I'm very happy for that for the bride & groom) - I'm just not looking forward to being inside a hall all day/night! Bonfire at night sounds more my speed! Ah well... it will be fun anyway!

Oh, I love that smell! Our back yard neighbor has a big smoker in a building in his back yard & the smell always drifts our way! Our contractors keep asking "How can you stand it...aren't you always hungry?" :lol:

Good morning, all! It's been super busy here at work, what with giving out flu shots and treating folks for the nasty cold that's going around. I've had time to get on and look at the new posts, and that's about it. The year is really flying by now, and it will be Christmas before we know it. That's always something to look forward to.

By the way, I tried a new recipe on hubby last night, and it was a real hit.

2 pieces King's Hawaiian bread
2 pieces Spam
1 slice Mozarella cheese
1 ring pineapple
thin slice of onion
BBQ sauce

Fry the onion, pineapple, and spam. Butter the two slices of bread. Then pile all ingredients on the bread, and fry it just like you would a grilled cheese sandwich.
FABULOUS!

I know it sounds odd with the BBQ sauce and onions and pineapple all together, but try it. It's really good!

I've had time to get on and look at the new posts, and that's about it. The year is really flying by now, and it will be Christmas before we know it. That's always something to look forward to.

The boys didn't get much done in the new room last night, but they did get some things ready for drywall tonight! I got the lawn mowed last night - I love that it's September but when you mow the lawn, it smells like spring fresh cut grass! LOVE IT! (usually it's dead by now!) I'm hoping the contractors came back today to work on siding!! xx Other than that - not much going on. It's a beautiful day!!!!

I think we are already wedding pro's! LOL! This weekend will be our 4th one this year ~ and this has been a slow year. LOL! Look out next year - At this point if I see a dress I like, I buy it b/c I'll be needing it! :lol:

The chiro didn't find anything seriously wrong, just some tight muscles and back joints. He worked them loose and it's much better this morning, although it's still kinda stiff. I'm sure that'll go away in a day or two.
