Days to Christmas Day: 88



And to all you outsiders (and all you insiders who might have consumed too much coffee this morning) my reference above is to the fact that we are now down to SINGLE DIGITS to the 90 percent home stretch Season Milestone!

The FINAL pre-Season marker on our long journey.

Wow. Just think. NINETY percent!!





VERY nice weather indeed here yesterday, with our high in the low 70's and the low humidity to match. No rain of course. And just enough breeze to make it interesting and keep the air stirred a bit.

Fantastic! (Wish it could always be so.)

We are at 57 degrees here currently, to begin the second half of our weekend.





Have a Super Sunday, Everybody!

And may your pro football team of choice achieve victory today.

(Unless they are playing against the Panthers or the Packers, that is.)

Man, am I glad to see you guys!

It's been 4 days since I have been on MMC. The school had homecoming this week (and I ultimately am responsible for the execution of homecoming events) and the Little Bambina's birthday and birthday party (they were on separate days) also occurred this week. Homecoming wrapped up Friday night at 10:30 with an unfortunate loss for my favorite high school team and I headed home to help out Doc. My wife, who is great in pressure situations, organized the birthday, but kept fine tuning everything until the absolute last minute when she said "Ok, now go take a shower. You stink." This was after going to bed at 2:30 Friday night and getting up at 6:00 am on Saturday morning. We worked on making it "perfect" until 1:30 (the party was at 2:00)....and it was perfect. My wife did such a good job organizing and having the party. Magical. Simply magical. Last night, when it was just the three of us, I realized how perfect it was....the party....and the after party....when it was just the three of us.

It was a great day.

I went to sleep at 8:00 pm and woke up at 8:05 am. Grabbed coffee, heading to my other home....here with you....where it's also perfect! To wrap up our night yesterday, Doc said "Well, I guess it's time to start shopping for Christmas."

Gosh, I love that girl.

Cool!!! Our Kmart and our Sears store in the mall are both going to be closing by Christmas. So I doubt that they will have anything this year. They will probably just be trying to get rid of the stuff that is already there.

My brother was telling me that some of the employees where he works (not too far from Detroit) were dissing Indy the way a lot of people dis Detroit. So sad.

I love KMart's decor, I always seem to think they have the best stuff every year. I wish the one here had their stuff out.

I like their decor/ornaments because the majority of them aren't covered in glitter. I don't care how careful I am, I go home with several particles on me that somehow or other, Palmer transfers all over the house.

Nope, not a nutcracker, yet. I am sure he will get one for Christmas.

Turtle is doing very well, he just loves the kids. He loves all of us to be honest. He is a great dog, very lazy, I think he sleeps more than the cats. cheesy

Oh no, Turtle suffers from "Chocolate Lab Syndrome" ~ just like Bo did. Isn't it great! cheesy
