I have received emails and private messages from several of you asking about Snow-in-Texas - thank you! I should have posted here sooner but he is doing very well and everything checked out good! Thanks again for your prayers, thoughts and messages.

After he got through yesterday we came home and watched some Christmas shows and movies. We also watched a lot of the Fast n Loud marathon that was on all day. It's the first time I have really watched it and I enjoyed it quite a bit, better than I thought it would be. Now if we go to where they record the show again, which is very close to our house, I will appreciate it a bit more!

Even though Wayne had to go through what he did yesterday we sure did enjoy our chill out time together when he got home!

Merry Morning!

It's been a hectic morning already. We had Isaac's last therapy session this morning. He will now be referred to Clinic. Although he is improving, there are times I am still so worried. I guess it is natural to feel this way. I believe in him and I won't lose faith. He has a hospital appointment on Thursday morning - a follow up from the one in June.

I had to miss my other son's award ceremony this morning because it clashed with Isaac's appointment. I feel pretty bad about that but when you have more than one child, I guess these things will happen. The worse bit was that she ran 40mins late for our appointment so I could have made the ceremony if I knew!!

Ok enough complaining

How are you all? CAH I have been praying for SnowInTexas. Hope things are ok? Made I have keeping your mum in prayer too. HomakinGirl , I hope you are better now.

Sorry I have not been keeping up with posts, it's really hard to these days.

[Holiday]

Good morning! It's a cool, nice 48 degrees here this morning. It's actually about 14 degrees warmer this morning, then it was yesterday morning for which we had a frost on the cars for the first time this season.

Last night we went up to a local Ma and Pa, farm stand and bought pumpkins for the front porch and house. Of course, while I was there, I just had to get one of those lovely homemade Apple Pies that they had on the shelf....Lisa put my arms behind my back and forced me too....lol~

I pulled into the driveway last night, and there were at least 10 deer standing there looking at me; what a site to see so many white tails. They were about 50 feet from my front porch. I started thinking , what would of have Jed Clampett (Beverly Hillbillies) of done......lol~

Tonight, when I get home, I'm going to start putting up some Halloween decorations outside for the first time in a year. Looking forward to seeing some decorations again on my house.

Hope everyone has a wonderful morning and day and that everyone is doing well~

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My brother-in-law was at the coast this weekend, and he brought back a cooler full of crabs, so we had a low country boil last night. Boy, that was goo-oo-oo-oo-ood!

Elizabeth has the week off from dance after the ballet last weekend, but Jacob still has band practice, so I have to go to Statesboro tonight, anyway. I should really think about getting an apartment over there...

Nancy and I are going to the mountains this weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We're looking forward to it, but it's a job getting all the kids' weekend obligations arranged while we're away. We'll be counting on my mom to handle most of this, bless her heart!

Good morning MMC!!! Happy Tuesday!

Since my hubby is on vaca this week, we ended up going to a furniture store last night to get some ideas. I think it just made me more confused! LOL! We need to do some measuring & figure out what we want & how many pieces of furniture! I need an interior designer - any takers?? :lol: We found a cute little (yummy) Mexican restaurant close to the furniture store. Best part of the night! Ha ha! I didn't sleep very good last night ~ I think it was the Pepsi I had on the drive. UGH! I was over-tired & couldn't sleep. Hate that! I watched 2 episodes of Cedar Cove on Netflix & then read. Finally fell asleep!

Hideeeho my friends...another day closer to our favorite time of the year. The house still looks like a hot mess....all of Kandice´s toys are stacked in boxes who are in the living room and hallway and our bedroom......hard to believe how much stuff an 8 year old can have!!!!
Today we start painting....probably the ceiling

A tad warmer yesterday and we managed to crack 70 by late afternoon.
We will stay cool for several more days but it should be dry and sunny.
Currently, I read 53 degrees on our back door thermometer.

Awesome! Come on over!!!! Hubby is hoping to do some farming on this vacation....hopefully the weather allows them to finish up! He got some work done at home yesterday, which was nice!
