Happy November!! THIS month will see the start if holiday season 2014! Mine unofficially begins with Halloween, so I have the Christmas tunes playing!

Merry Saturday!

I really hope you all had a wonderful,safe Halloween. I will admit I felt a little deflated this morning when I woke up. It's over now for another year. it reminds me how quickly time is going and how fast my kids are growing! We had a really good evening. The weather was perfect for trick or treating. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing all the lit houses and pumpkins. It was dry and 18C!!! This is summer temps for us and I can't believe it was so warm. It's cold today though, seems to be dropping back down a lot!

Anyway, once I came downstairs and turned on Christmas24 my mood got a lot better because now it is all about Christmas. We have waited so long to get here and now we can begin enjoying the season. I have been watching Christmas movies all day lol !

And good Morning, Post Halloween, Welcome-To-The-Weekend Friends.

Yes, indeedarino.
Another weekend, as well as another month, is indeed upon us.

And it comes with a whole new set of count numbers:
Days to the Season: 12 (Wow! SINGLE DIGITS in less than half a week!)
Days to Christmas Day: 54
And I do believe it's time to add another count line:
Days to Thanksgiving: 26

(Moving right along into the Holiday season, aren't we?)


Chilly here yesterday but nothing compared to what the next couple of days will bring.
It will really feel like the rest of Autumn has been skipped and we have gone straight to winter!
We have started off this weekend at 46 degrees.

Good afternoon everyone!

I was trying to sort out the booking of a few flights for Christmas, so I wasn't able to get on earlier... Either way, we've made it! Happy November, everyone! The calendar has been turned and we are oh so close to the magic of the Season!

I arrived home a little late last night from my Halloween party. I feel OK though. Kim and I are about to walk to the mall and see if we can find some Christmas decorations. I am excited! We don't have many other plans for this weekend, so I am hoping that we can check a few places other than the Rideau Centre. My favourite time of the year has arrived. Halloween is over and stores everywhere in Canada should be converting to Christmas! Hopefully I will have plenty of photos for the Blossoms thread!

Almost 2pm and the house is decorated inside and out. Now my wife and I get to enjoy the time before Christmas in our festive house!


These are few pictures from our place. Later, I'll post the outdoor lights, and from the door and stair way and my book shelf of Christmas stuff.

Merry November!!!

We had a lot of fun last night. My daughter, son-in-law and the kids all went Trick or Treating then they treated me to dinner afterward. We went to an all you can eat pizza place. I can't eat pizza due to food allergies, instead loaded up on lots of salad. I miss pizza!!! Then my daughter was telling me about one type they had that is so tasty and I was saying, "yummy". She said, "I'm sorry mom, I am torturing you, never mind, this pizza is terrible"!!! Ha ha! Then they thought maybe they were being rude taking me there but I said I was fine!!! I just wanted to be with family and don't care where we go. It's not like I wouldn't have restrictions at any other restaurant! Except for the vegetarian restaurant we go to a lot but the kids are not crazy for that one and it's a little pricey.

All the Halloween coffee mugs were packed away yesterday and I got all my Christmas mugs out. Just drinking coffee in my festive mug and surround by my doggies and kitties on the couch while watching Hallmark Christmas movies!!!

Good day to you and Merry November, CAH! Sounds like your day yesterday was a blast! I know my family thinks I'm crazy, but I drink out of Christmas mugs all year around! Enjoy doing so and enjoy the Hallmark movies. I've having a blast already!
