Christmas Countdown - 2014

Big day today at the Ballcoach household. It's Christmas Tree Day! Little Bambina will get to see us put up the tree. This time last year, she couldn't really interact with any of it, so this will be fun. We also have a baby gate that we are going to put around the tree. I don't know how much I will like that, but I feel a need to protect the tree from Ballcoach's little mean spawn. She is into everything. She can say a few words. Her favorite.....

Bad Dada. Bad dada. Bad dada.

It's kinda funny.

I was training to be 3rd assistant manager, well the 2nd assistant went MIA for 5 days then sent a text and quit. So now I'm training to open and take her place. The catch is training just went into high speed. I need to get 5 weeks of training done in 2 weeks. Maybe a little stressful but it will get done.

On a happier ( and less stressful ) note, I now have tomm off......so time to put up some trees:wiggy::wiggy:

It's a cold morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at 30 degree's on our way to a high of 41. Brr!!! Time to break out the wool socks and sweaters!!!! Lots of running today. I have a few errands this morning and then this afternoon I have to take mom to see a Doctor in a town about an hour away. She is being sent there by Social Security Disability for a physical exam. So hopefully he agree's that it's going to be impossible for her to ever really work again with the weakness she has from all of the strokes and the fact that she keeps having them. Then Tuesday she has to go see another doctor for them to get a mental and psychological exam. By the time we get back from there this afternoon, it will be time to just kick back and enjoy Hallmark for the rest of the evening. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I really hope you all had a wonderful,safe Halloween. I will admit I felt a little deflated this morning when I woke up. It's over now for another year. it reminds me how quickly time is going and how fast my kids are growing! We had a really good evening. The weather was perfect for trick or treating. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing all the lit houses and pumpkins. It was dry and 18C!!! This is summer temps for us and I can't believe it was so warm. It's cold today though, seems to be dropping back down a lot!

Anyway, once I came downstairs and turned on Christmas24 my mood got a lot better because now it is all about Christmas. We have waited so long to get here and now we can begin enjoying the season. I have been watching Christmas movies all day lol !

Happy November all. I hope it will be a cheerful one for all of us!:notice:

Merry Saturday, Festive! It is a bummer when Halloween is over, but I get in full Christmas mode too! I still stay decorated for fall and Thanksgiving, until the day after Thanksgiving, but I enjoy Christmas totally!

I was trying to sort out the booking of a few flights for Christmas, so I wasn't able to get on earlier... Either way, we've made it! Happy November, everyone! The calendar has been turned and we are oh so close to the magic of the Season!

I arrived home a little late last night from my Halloween party. I feel OK though. Kim and I are about to walk to the mall and see if we can find some Christmas decorations. I am excited! We don't have many other plans for this weekend, so I am hoping that we can check a few places other than the Rideau Centre. My favourite time of the year has arrived. Halloween is over and stores everywhere in Canada should be converting to Christmas! Hopefully I will have plenty of photos for the Blossoms thread!

Good afternoon, MMC friends! How are you all doing? I am well - just watching Hallmark/HMC and drinking coffee. There is really great movies on today! What are you all up today?

I don't really have any plans for this evening, except for to watch some movies - my sister and her boyfriend are keeping the kids for us - I work tonight and DH works in the am, so they are just having a sleepover, to make it easier for them. I'll be working an extra hour tonight because of the time change. I'll have to load up on the coffee!

Hello everyone! And happy November too!
I am way behind the posts but last few days were crazy.
I was determined to finish my second grand essay of the semester.
I finished it couple of hours ago. It really is amazing how much work someone can do in couple of days.
You think you can't but then you just sit and DO IT even if it takes 9 hours of searching and typing in with the laptop.
I hope you all had an amazing Halloween and ate lots of candies. ^^
