Christmas Countdown - 2014

Thanksgiving Break has arrived! One week of no school...



I'm going to have a great week and we kick it off tomorrow. I'm about to go sit down and work on our menu for the next week. Tomorrow, we will go buy groceries, do a little Christmas shopping, and go eat. It is a big tradition for Doc and me. Sunday, I will finish decorating the inside of the house and put the lights up outside. Monday...it will be time to start cooking.

Good morning Y´all! A sunny day here in Worms, Germany. Again the temperatures will be way too warm for this time of the year...of course I don´t wan t a coldwave like You guys have in the States...btw...I hope all of You guys are warm and safe...but a little colder and seasonlike temps would be nice....some parts of Germany have a forecast for around 14 to 16 degrees celsius....which is around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.....we usually are around 41 degrees around November.....

the kitties were fighting and eating and now they are resting.....Kandice has breakfast and is watching kid´s TV, when she is finished....she will have to tidy up her toys and stuff....so we can get the house ready.....Have a great day

How's it been so far?

Watching holiday movies?
Drinking eggnog?

Now, on with the count:
Days to Thanksgiving: 5 (Closing in rapidly!)
Days to Christmas Day: 33 (Less than half a week to the one month mark!)


Well, it wasn't too bad yesterday albeit still rather chilly.
Another cold one today, then warmer for Sunday.
We are at 25 degrees here, currently.


Well, the Raleigh Christmas Parade is today. Something I try never to miss each year. At that point, it really seems like the city has arrived at the Season with us!

Good evening,

Another day closer to Thanksgiving, another day closer to the end of turkey-geddon. My store manager asked me how I am doing today and I told her "miserable." She was stunned I said that, I told her it was like this every year by this time I am hurting from head to toe, and I just want this over. Come to find out, one of my employees said the same thing (miserable) when she asked how she was doing earlier.
This weekend is our "Super Bowl" the final push is here, so it is time to use every last bit of energy I have left.

:family: We had Thanksgiving many moons ago, I could go for more turkey - perhaps I'll celebrate the American Thanksgiving with some turkey breast, dressing and corn.
