Hi! Well, It's Monday! Good morning~
Here we are, off to the start of another work week and for some reason, I had this really weird feeling this morning. You know what I mean, the kind like where you get this really weird feeling, but you can't exactly put your finger on it...
Well, I just found out what it is, my boss called me and his 2 other favorite / dependable guys into the executive conference room and he informed us that he is putting in his 2 week notice at lunch. Just great! He is just about the best thing that has ever happened to this company, he's a great boss, phenomenal engineer, good person and I consider him a friend as well...I sort of feel a little sick to my stomach at the moment.
I think I have a case of the Mondays.....
On another/ lighter note, I have a report from Foot's Forecast as follows:
Get Ready For BOOM!
MAJORITY OF COMPUTER MODELS POINTING TO A
PERIOD OF HIGH IMPACT HEAVY SNOW WEDNESDAY PM
ACROSS THE NORTHEAST METROPOLITAN REGION.
10:45 AM EST 11/24 UPDATED: LATEST SNOWFALL PROBABILITIES from the NOAA Weather Prediction Center should give ANYONE pause if you plan to travel Wednesday, or are in essential services. Teachers, this is a great opportunity to show your students why understanding the legend on a map is critical to good decision-making.
WRONG: The issue WILL NOT be snow covered roads, it will be VISIBILITY due to heavy wet snow combined with high volume traffic. One person decided to slow to a crawl on 95 at 3 PM in the snow, and BOOM. There goes your holiday weekend. Think about it. Plan ahead. Consider how you can adjust your plans now before reality hits and its too late.
OUR FEAR: Unless something changes drastically in the storm track trends, this series of unfortunate events on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving could become the worst day of mass travel in modern times, if we have a repeat of January 26, 2011.
3:20 AM EST 11/24 Overnight, a trend among most computer models began to take shape, and is centering on what could be considered the "worst case scenario." For those following our Options A, B and C -- it suggests one outcome: Our Goose Is Cooked.
· Despite today's summer-like feel of temperatures spiking to the 60s in many locations, an equally fast crash back to the 40s comes on Tuesday;
· Sun angle is now comparable to mid-January, so daytime heating will be a non-issue;
· By Wednesday Noon, cold rain from the Blue Ridge to the Mid-Atlantic should begin mixing with and rapidly changing to snow.
· In just a 6-hour period, precip charts shown below for both BWI and PHL airports depict that over 0.50" of liquid is expected to fall AS SNOW. Need a visual? The "snow monsoon" of January 26, 2011 is our closest example of what to expect.

Good morning, friends! Hope you all have a great start to your week!
Last afternoon/evening, I seemed to start coming down with what the kids had. I starting running a fever and just felt blah. Thank goodness DH was here - I had to work last night, so I went to bed. Work called around 9 pm and told me I had to take a mandatory on-call because it was slow - I was okay with that, since I wasn't feeling the best! Anyway, I got a good night of sleep and seem to be feeling somewhat better.
Both of the kids headed to school today. They just both have the lingering colds, but seem to be getting better. It's that time of the year!
I plan to just do some wash today and decorate a few more things. As of right now, we plan on decorating the tree Friday. Can't wait!
Well, I hope you all have a great day! God Bless and keep smiling!

Good Monday morning all. We have finished our Christmas decorating and our son is coming home from college tonight. We don't decorate much outside since no one would see it but us. There are no fulltime residents past our house on the mountain and all the vacationers & part-timers are gone for the winter. We do quite a bit inside for ourselves though.
Nice weather Saturday but yesterday was rainy and too warm. Today will be sunny and much too warm with a high in the low 60s. However better weather is coming for the rest of the week and a chance of snow Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Saw that the long range forecast is for above normal temps the first week of December. Not good news.
Have a blessed day.
Monday
There's some talk of a few inches of snow Wednesday night ... I hope not. It would mess up Thanksgiving for SO many people. (We're okay, though, because Mr. and I just have Thanksgiving at home.)
It may be another crazy week at work, but at least it should be a short one. I hope we close early on Wednesday because I string the lights on our tree when I get home and set it up. Then I decorate it over the weekend. I may pop into the office over the weekend to decorate around my desk. I did that last year, and co-workers got a kick out of seeing the decorations when they came in the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Good morning MMC!
Super excited that it's Thanksgiving week! I've got to run because I have so much to do but I will catch up here later. I hope everyone has a great day!
xx

Happy Monday to you too! Time really is flying - it's crazy! Weekend was very nice & as always, it went too fast! Did some Christmas open house shopping with the lake neighbor ladies Saturday afternoon, then went to a chicken dinner benefit. Are you traveling?
Well, Wednesday no plans to do so. However, on Thanksgiving Day, Lisa is supposed to work, (be in by 7 am) and then we are all supposed to meet up at her parents house in Baltimore by 3pm.
How about yourself, have any special plans to be on the road for Wed or Thurs?
