Good Morning MMC !

Its Friday !!! Moving day for my eldest, well moving weekend, so much going on we have to move in between events , but should be all done by Sunday evening. Plus it decided to snow again yesterday so it will also be cold and wet. Oh well, these things end up making memories !

I also have to be at work by 10 because I forgot to ask for the day off, my daughter still not happy with me. But one cashier was let go so we are short handed right now. Boss said I could leave early if it is not busy. Friday is always busy so I know that will not happen.

A late-day hello to all!

Slept in, then spent the day wrapping gifts and preparing packages for mailing, while listening to Christmas old-time radio. Then Mr. and I had lunch, and I headed out to Jo-Ann and bought a big load of yarn. (My stash was pretty much gone!) I had sticker shock when I got the total, but it should keep me busy for a while. I'm kinda tired now, so I think I'll crash on the couch and crochet while watching some Christmas DVDs. We may wind up screening some film in the basement later, if I don't poop out too early.

I just love having four days off at Thanksgiving! (Thanksgiving, the day after, and the weekend) Can't believe the second day is already winding down, though. I'll be decorating little by little over the weekend, I think. Must get some rest before Monday, though. The volume and pace of work at the office has been almost brutal in recent weeks.

I don't have any plans for today, just going to take it easy and recover from yesterday. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving but I'm kind of happy that its behind us, now I can totally concentrate on Christmas!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a cool day here with a high right around 30 degree's. a warm up is coming for this weekend though and tomorrow we should see temps in the mid 50's!!! Yay!!!! I've already been out shopping this morning and now I'm just sitting here enjoying some breakfast while I try to determine what I want to do the rest of the day. I want to go to the grocery at some point. They are running some good deals today. I'm also waiting on my sister to call and let me know what she is going to do today. I need to take my Christmas tree out to her at some point this weekend and get up in her attic and get the rest of her Christmas stuff down for her. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

It was nice! We couldn't all be together - my brother didn't have his kids this holiday, but will for Christmas, but glad to just be together. The food was wonderful, as always! So much to be thankful for!

Well I think I'm done shopping for today. At least out in the stores. I might place an order on amazon later today. My sister went to one of her friends houses too. So I can't go out there like i had planned on. So I guess that means that I just have to kick back and watch Christmas movies for awhile. Darn.

We are having a great holiday season despite some hiccups. Ms HollyJolly came up sick while we were on vacation. I resisted as long as i could but Saturday got sick as well. it happened as the worst of hers was over. Good timing because i needed her to step up even though she is still sick. That said, it has still put a bit of a crunch on our schedule...especially the part where we help others out with their holiday needs and decorating. We can function for short bursts and then need to lay down. About the only good to have come from it involves watching TV and movies.

Even with all that going on, we're thankful and have been doing ok. Hopefully we are just a few days from better health and can get back on track. I have done a lot more Cybershopping from a prone position rather than going to the stores much.

Internet problems here, they cannot come by until dec 8th !!! Ahhhh no internet for a week! I think we will be visiting mc'donalds daily till then . But if we can't I will check in through my phone . At least it will be on before the worlds biggest Christmas party !
