I'm so glad that I'm off today, I plan on doing some online shopping on this Cyber Monday. I hope to find some good deals and cross a lot of things off of my gift list!

So our house is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Woo Hoo!! I bought all new decorations & lights for the tree in the new room. Nothing fancy, but I think it turned out nice! I did clear lights & amber lights & 1 strand of twinkling clear lights. It's something different for me since I've ALWAYS done colored lights! 
Good afternoon MMC!! I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get caught up since Thursday, but I'll try!! I never made it on here over the weekend, but I was thinking of you all!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
We had such a nice Thanksgiving day ~ the in-laws were all over for lunch & they stayed til about 4:30. The addition to our house worked out well to have everyone over!! :smile: Then we went to my sisters for my side's Thanksgiving. Not everyone was there, but most were & it was nice! Friday I did a little black Friday shopping with a friend. We filled up the back of her Durango! Lol! Friday night we had friends over (2 couples) who we hardly ever get to see anymore, so that was very nice! Lots of fun & laughs! Then the weekend turned sad. If you remember I mentioned that my friends were traveling to Boston for Thanksgiving. Well, their oldest son (19) didn't go along. He's in college & he works, so he stayed back. Friday night he struck & killed a pedestrian - an 18 year old from a neighboring town. As you can imagine my friend is an absolute basket case ~ she already lost 2 sisters in 2 separate traffic accidents. Makes ya wonder how much that poor family can handle. What a long drive home from Boston for them!!! Saturday night my friend & co-worker's Mom unexpectedly passed away. Our HS football team won state semi's - his Mom had a stomach ache (she has ulcers) so she stayed home & was going to listen to the game on the radio. When my friends Dad got home from the game, she was in bed, with the radio on & she had passed away. So terribly sad! She was 75. There was also another accident Saturday night where a 19 year old boy from another neighboring town over-corrected his vehicle, wasn't wearing a seatbelt & was killed. And our friends in Pittsburgh lost one of their very best friends in a traffic accident yesterday. So much sadness over a holiday weekend!
On a lighter note, I did get both my tree's up & so far Gracie is letting them alone. I did put folding chairs all the way around the "main" tree before I left for work this morning. LOL!!! No trust!
