Congrats Made!! Gotta love Bronners!!!!

I am still on bucket brigade here. The rains in Northern California showed us where holes are in our new roof. Well, it's not the "real" roof yet. Hubby still has to tarpaper it, then get the shingles on. He hastily put up some tar paper on the sections that were leaking. We still have one small leak, at least until weather permits working on the roof without sliding off!

Nice to see you Seawaters!! Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. I hope hubby is able to work on the roof & git 'r done soon!!

Good evening,

I was sparse around these parts today, had so much to do, so I wasn't really able to partake in the WLCP. I was able to get all my outside lights done and lit, and I had to make my wife her favorite dinner tonight for her birthday, homemade calzones. Her birthday is tomorrow, just easier to do it tonight instead of a work night. The calzones were delicious, mine was pepperoni, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese. Hers was, turkey sausage, peppers, onions, broccoli, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.

I am happy the Bengals, and put a damper on Johnny Overhype for at least a day. They still hold on to first place for now, next week it will be Payton Manning and the Broncos. Should be a good one, if the Bengals actually show up for a prime time game.

Congrats to all the winners!!!

I hope you all had a great day!!!

Well, since I'm a Browns fan & my hubby is Bengals, this girl was NOT happy with the outcome of the game. BUT I am in no way shape or form a Manzel fan & I think most peeps knew that was going to happen. What a joke! :-?
Your Calzones sound amazing!!! Happy birthday to your wife!!! Have a great day xmas!

You normally have 50's in December? Wow!
We are not used to spring weather in December. It's usually very cold & much more snow. But yes, much more snow in January, February, and March here.

Yes, some CD's, candy, and coal. Ha!
Thanks, buddy![/COLOR]

50's aren't normal but we normally start the month out in the mid 40's and end in the mid 30's. This year we were well below normal in the beginning of the month. This warm streak is nice but it looks like we will be below normal again come the end of the week and pretty much for the rest of the month.

Good morning MMC!! I can't believe this is the last full week of work before Christmas! Just seems unbelievable!!! :gift:

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend & enjoyed the Worlds Largest Christmas Party!! I'm sorry I wasn't able to partake. We had a busy/Christmassy weekend! Made cookies Saturday with friends, made candy Sunday with family. Good weekend!

We ended up with almost 70 lbs of candy. LOL!!!

Have a great Monday gang! I'm hoping to catch up on posts yet...

Yum!!!! I would have been right there with Gracie drooling!!!! LOL!!!

Glad you had fun!!!

I can't believe it's the last week before Christmas either!!! Time is just flying by way to quick!!!!

Good evening!
I hope everyone enjoyed their day, wish I could have spent some more time here. I did a lot of Christmas shopping today and I got a lot done. I'm going to try and finish over the next couple of days and then I need to start wrapping. I'm going to turn in soon, I'm tired from all of that running around. So much fun though, I love it. Enjoy the rest of the evening, see you in the morning. Goodnight! [emoji813]

Love those 2 poochies!!

Morning! I am up early even though I'm taking the day off from working out today. We did end up making gingerbread houses with family yesterday! My Grandmom said to come and we were diligent about hand washing and Clorox wipes! :) turns out most of first grade has come down with this stomach bug and now I am wondering if I should just keep Jude home today!!

I finished most of my wrapping yesterday but then I went out and bought more this morning. So i have to wrap all of that now.

This week really needs to slow down!!!

I liked it. It was a nice break from all of the Hallmark movies. I won't say that it is the best movie out there but it was a fun movie.

Yes, that makes sense.
It went from fall temps to bitter cold overnight here, too, around Halloween.
We got a lot of snow initially, then it just faded away. Lately we've been having warmer temps and rain, along with lots of fog. Seems like everything is backwards this year!

It was a little bit of "Christmas magic"!

Mom stopped at every gift shop and antique store on the way up here, looking for one. They are pretty rare, so we were both ecstatic! Especially to find the same exact one of hers that I love!
We caused a scene at the antique store, everyone had to come and see what we found :) It was so much fun!

Good morning!
Just wanted to pop in quick to wish everyone a Happy Monday, I need to start cooking breakfast and packing lunches for the girls. The kitten has a vet appointment this morning. I'm also bringing Bella in, she suffers from some kind of allergies every once in a while and it seems to have flared up over the past couple of days. It's going to be challenging bringing the both of them in by myself! I also plan on heading to the outlets later this afternoon to do some shopping. I hope everyone is well and has a great day. See you later!!!

Animated_Xmas-tree-animation.gif

Hope the vet appts go well!!! xx Hope you are having a great day HMG!

Just a quick jump in here to say I hope everyone is having a beautiful Christmas season. Merry Christmas!

Hope you are having a beautiful Christmas season too graywolf. Nice to see you!

Howdy!!! :hi:

I cannot believe I have been gone for over a month! Too long!

First of all, the family were passing around cold/flu for a few weeks. I got ill and my dog ended up at the vet with an ear infection. Busy dealing with that. Then when everyone got well, Snow-in-Texas and I went out of town for 2 weeks.

Christmasy kind of vacation: We went to visit Snow-in-Texas family in Maryland. We made a trip to National Christmas Center Museum in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend that museum - I was in awe! We also went to Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. I love aviation and it was awesome to go there! His family live real close to Gettysburg so we made a trip there as well. The highlight of the trip - we went to New York City Rockefeller Center!!! Thank you for the info, CJ, we did go to the Winter Village in Bryant Park and was very impressed! We drove on this whole trip - Texas to New York City - so lots and lots of Christmas music was playing all the way there and back.

Xmastidings - We did make it to Valley View Farms. They really set it up nicely with lots of pretty decorations. We also went to Town Mall in Westminster, MD., they have a lot of decorated trees on display that people can bid on. Not sure if you seen them, they are really pretty! Also made a trip to Inner Harbor in Baltimore for the Christkindle Market - it was nice!

I really miss you all and hope I can make it on here more often! Of course, like most of us on here, I will be busy up until after Christmas. I will do my best to not wait a full month to return!

Nice to see you stranger! :) Sounds like a trip of a lifetime. How fun! Enjoy the season!!!!

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful time at the World's Largest Christmas Party. I am disappointed that I could not partake, but I will look forward to next year. My weekend was fun and disappointing. Buffalo was quite nice. We had fun doing a few tourist things on Saturday and then tailgating before for the game on Sunday.

The Packers were pretty awful. The defence did not give up a touchdown, but the special teams punt return was the difference. Having so many Packers fans there only to see a loss was disappointing. Most of the Buffalo fans were very nice. There were only a few idiots.

I'm still quite tired from all the travel. It was only about 11 hours of being in a car for two days, but it still takes a lot out of you! Prior to leaving Saturday morning, we had our annual Christmas Sweater, Fondue and Gift Exchange party at our friends' place. Good times were had. We didn't get home until about 2:30am, so I think that is still bothering me a little.

I am not working again today, so perhaps I will take a nap. It seems like a good idea to me. I'll check back in here a few times throughout the day. It is the final double digit day before Christmas, so I think these times must be extra cherished.

Have a great Monday, everyone! Merry Christmas!

Glad you had a safe trip! Sorry the game was disappointing! Hope you caught a nap. Have a great day Brent!

Good morning everyone. I hope you all have a great week!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a warm but rainy day here in Central Indy. I need to get out and run some errands though. I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping but as I was wrapping everything yesterday, I realized that I forgot to buy stocking gifts for everyone. Whoops. So I want to try and knock them out today before the stores get even crazier. I also need to get mom a birthday card. Her birthday is next Monday so we will probably celebrate it next weekend. It will just depend on what the weather is like. It's looking like December wants to go out with a bang with a snow storm next weekend, another one on Christmas eve and Christmas day, and then another one right before New Years. Boo!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

You keep that rain! We have 45 & nothing but sunshine!!! This morning was super foggy - our school had a 3 hour delay! Crazy weather! I didn't see anything about a snow storm for us over the weekend, just a chance of snow on Wednesday. Good luck finding stocking stuffers & a card!

Sunshine? We haven't seen that in days!! LOL!!

They said this weekend's storm is not set in stone yet but more and more model runs are showing it happening. They are thinking the cut off for snow will be around 70. Rain and sleet north of that here.
