(Snowflake- I think we need to build Holiday her own permanent guest cabin so she can bring us food and drinks when we build the homestead!!!!)

When my brother from the Cape is home over Christmas he is going to help/supervise putting new flooring in at their house. (he's a private contractor) That is going to be our Christmas gift to them. Well my sister just picked up my niece so I may finally be able to get some stuff done. The only thing that she really complained about while here is that her mom never got her a chocolate advent calendar. She went on and on about it until I finally gave in and ran to the grocery store and got her and her sister both one. She was excited about the concept of catching up on it tonight but I don't think her mom is going to go for that. I'm pretty sure she will make them stretch it out over a couple of days.

That's too bad she's struggling with going to school, now.
Are kids being hurtful?
Keeping her in my prayers.

Good Tuesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

we're=still in the hospital with Nancy's mom. Yesterday was rough, but today is much better. The docs determined that she'd had a heart attack and is currently suffering from congestive heart failure. But that knowledge allows the docs to treat her properly, and she's already feeling a bit better.

Thanks for the continued prayers!

BTW...Christmas is NEXT WEEK!!! cheesy Santa was here at the hospital this morning!

I don't think other kids are being hurtful. It's more just separation anxiety and a fear of being away from my sister. My oldest niece said she isn't doing so hot when she has to stay the night at my BIL's.

I'm glad that they finally figured out what is going on and that she is starting to feel better already with the treatment. She will continue to be in my prayers.

Hi there all! I'm just getting back into the office from being out on a job site to review the construction progress. We got a new 9 foot Christmas tree, and its pre-lit, it's all decorated now. That makes for Christmas tree number 2 that is lit and decorated. I'm going to go for Christmas tree number three tonight.

The kids are supposed to be home tonight, so that we can make some Christmas cookies and hopefully watch Charlie Brown tonight @ 8:00 pm (EST) and then we are going to watch Rudolph and frosty after that~

Hope everyone is doing well, I have been receiving a steady stream of Christmas cards from the exchange and I thank everyone that has sent one to me, so far!

Tomorrow night, we are heading up to Pennsylvania to Longwood Gardens to see their Christmas lights, the flowers and all of their decorations; I'll take some pictures.
