Christmas Countdown - 2015

Just saw that we are 6 inches below normal as far as snowfall goes this year and 21 inches behind last year. It just breaks my heart I tell you. LOL!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's another yucky day, wet in the mid-50's all day. But it's supposed to be sunny and mid-60's this weekend, so WOOP-WOOP!

We went back to the furniture store last weekend. I couldn't talk Nancy into the super-cool sofa, but I did get he moderately-cool sofa, and a cool loveseat. That's the art of compromise, right?

The church youth group did the entire service last Sunday, and it was great! Elizabeth sang while Jacob played guitar, and they stole the show. I'm very proud of their talents!

Well my day is now very different, take a look at my new foot ware

Walked into work and sprained my ankle. . Wow did that ever hurt ! Have to stay completely off it for three days

Boo!!!! Hope it heals up fast, Star!!!!!! I know how annoying those boots can be after being in one for almost 10 weeks last winter!!!

I remember that, but you were a lot braver about it than I am being right now. Right now this really really hurts so maybe when it settles down it will not be so bad.

Our back yard neighbor has a big smoker in his building - he turned an old refrigerator into a smoker. It always smells wonderful in our back yard. (he smokes things a lot!) I can really smell it in Gracies fur after she has been outside when he's smoking something. Mmmmm! Lol!

I love the smell of smoking meat. My brother has one too.

Happy New Year folks, and thanks for carrying the torch...It seems odd to be still in the Christmas spirit but I am, against all odds I might add! 2014 will go down in history as about a 6 out of 10 but I'm alive, happy, healthy...What more could a man want...The year started out quietly and I can already see some challenges on the horizon and have experienced some sadness as our oldest and dearest kitty became too sick to live on...She was mentioned at the bottom of Louann's posts, along with Taz and Rizzo...Dear Zema was almost 19...We miss her and love her...But onward we go.

Hope 2015 is a 10 for everyone! And thanks for keeping the porch light on.

I know man same here...I have not even looked to see how far behind we are in snowfall, but I know last year snow was on the ground from November to late feb and like in feet..we usually get 150 average inches, and so far we have received 15 (so I guess -135). But it's still early in the winter I think feb and march it could pick up...mother nature eh...what can ya do?! I know how you feel though especially since every meteorologist under the sun was saying this was going to be an epic year for snow!

Good morning everyone! It's a beautiful cloudy day here. I love cloudy days every once in a while especially in fall and winter. We did get a fresh coating of snow enough to make everything beautiful and white outside. Lows this week are going to be in the upper 20's and highs around 35 to 38 which is the normal. I got brandi off to work this morning and went back to bed for a while with the boys, this is a hard week for her because of parent teacher conferences so I am trying to make it as stressfree a possible. Hope everyone has a wonderful winter Tuesday!!

we are tired of the morning fresh coats of snow here, for 7 days in a row it snowed every day. It is so nice to see the sun again!
cuddling with the kids on a chilly morning was something I enjoyed too, special memories.

Well hello there this morning! Sorry so late getting here to the show this morning, but from all that jabber-jawing I did yesterday, I had to rest my fingers for a little while today, LOL!!!!

No, I've just been super busy this morning here at the office, with my computer taking a dump first this morning, (I had to wait for the IT guy to get it straightened out). They apparently loaded some new software on it while I was out yesterday to better enhance the functionality of it and what did that do, not let me get into the software program that I needed to get into to design, for over 2 hours... Nice enhancement.....

Then I've had 2 meetings and 1 conference call already today, so busy, busy, busy....

I'm going to try to go thru the posts to see what everyone has been up to so far today....

OH I know how you feel...its like when I hurt my back a few years ago and had to depend on others, I just looked around the room thinking of what I wanted to do and could not, but like you said thank goodness for pain medication...maybe that along with rest will get you back to tip top shape soon!
