Good afternoon, everyone! I don't know if I'll be popping back in anymore tonight, so I wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to you all! DH surprised me by taking the day off and drove out me to Pittsburgh! We're staying in hotel and going to enjoy a night on the town! It should be lovely!

We're in the blizzard warning here, with the worst expected tomorrow morning. It's snowing here now, but that's not the main event yet---the storm is supposed to intensify overnight. Thank heaven, our plow guy was able to come over yesterday and shovel off our roof. It was pricey, but not as bad as paying for roof damage or a leak would be.
We went out for lunch and picked up a few groceries, but we're inside snug and warm now. Feels good to be safe and warm indoors. I hope we'll be west of the worst of the wind.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!!!!!
Wayne took off from work for my birthday yesterday, he usually takes off for it every year. We had a great day! Flowers for me, he took me out for breakfast and lunch. He also had a Beatles CD set up to play the Birthday song when I got into the car. Last night I got a treat, we drove by a house fully lit up with Christmas lights! Awesome - Happy Birthday to me!!! Having a birthday on Friday the 13th was not so unlucky after all!
For Valentine's Day we are going to cookout. The temps will be up in the 70's today but expecting snow and freezing temps in a couple of days!!! That's Texas for ya! =)

Happy Valentines Day to all of you wonderful ladies here. I hope that you all had a wonderful day!!!
Hello everyone. How was you day? I myself have been busy as usual (ahh you know me), The darn van started acting up last night, so this morning I drove to the local Toyota dealership at (you'll laugh at this), 5 mph with my blinkers flashing, riding on the shoulder all the way! Some crazy sensor went up where it was telling the computer that the van was sliding (and it wasn't) and because so, the ABS (anti lock braking system) kept applying the brakes every time that I would go over 5 miles per hour.
So, I had that replaced. Then I drove down to the next county and spent the afternoon running errands and then stopping and visiting my grandfather for a few hours. On my way back home, it started to snow and my darn windshield wipers stopped working, and I mean, stopped working.
I couldn't see nothing in front of me, more than 20 feet and I drove all the way home like that, about 25 mph or less, with my flasherson, for the next 20 miles... Whew, I made it, barely, sliding all over the place and driving off onto the shoulder a few times....That raised my blood pressure up ,like say, 200 points~LOL
I'm home now, safe, sound and I am not going anywhere for the rest of the night! I going to wait until it stops snowing, and then I have to go out there and plow and salt the driveway down because both Lisa and Zach are working right now, and neither one of them will get home till sometime around 11pm.
It's fun-fun this time of year....
