Looks like overnight the weather map has changed somewhat....What??? Hath me eyes playing tricks upon thee??

It says I am now in the 6-10 inch range..... Me likey that alot!!!!

Thanks xmas! It's still snowing, about 10 inches out there now!

I want to go outside and fire up the tractor and have some fun, but now I'm hearing that there is a chance for the snow to temporary turn into sleet and freezing rain. I was always taught to leave your powder snow down as a base so that the sleet and freezing rain won't stick to the sidewalks and pavement....

So, I guess I'm going to retrain myself and stay inside until it's over and done with.

Well, getting home from work, was really quite the adventure. I made it, but barley by the skin of my teeth.... Seriously, the roads are trashed, cars all over the place, accidents galore. I literally zig-zagged my way across every lane possible to get around all the stuck vehicles.

I made to the bottom of the driveway and then I got stuck, I walked up the hill, got the tractor out, and a matter of 10 minutes later, I made it up over the hill. Lisa is stuck, she's down in Baltimore county (50 miles away) and sitting, going no where's, I just told her to go back to the hospital and stay there. She's trying to make it back there now....

We have 6 inches right now on the driveway and they are saying the heavy snow has not even started yet.... Once Lisa gets back to the hospital, then my happiness will shine thru, knowing that she is safe.

Sounds quite scary, I hope Lisa is safe at the hospital.

She called and made it to her parents house safe and sound but scared to death; I thought she left work at 3, she said she left early at 2:15! Almost 3 hours to go 5 miles to her parents house.... Thank the Lord, she got there safe and without any incidents!!!!

I told her to stay the night down there and don't worry about us, we're fine, and we aren't going any where's tonight.... All's well that ends well~

Now I can relax and calm down....

I am glad she is safe.

Sounds so warm and cozy, such a relaxing night! Pizza must be the thing to eat tonight - DH just went to pick some up!

I had wanted to cook, but Adi isn't feeling well, it may be a sinus infection. So, he suggested takeout. I'm always hungry for pizza!

4 weekends in a row with a snowstorm, and ice is expected tomorrow.

Good Saturday evening, my Christmas friends!

I'm tired! Jacob's band had an early morning gig today. I had to have him 30 miles away at 7am. It was still in the 20's when we got there (for an outdoor gig!), and they almost froze to death, but they got the gig done. What troopers!

Now I'm tired and chapped from standing in the wind.

Mrs. Hilda is doing great. I just got home from having supper at her house. Lulu is doing pretty good, too.

Yup, I checked outside and we are definitely getting that sleet and freezing rain stuff now! Glad I didn't go outside to clear everything off earlier like I was thinking about doing.

I can't wait to see what it will look like outside when I get up tomorrow morning, with everything all covered in snow and now glistening like a warm glazed doughnut...

We been talking about the snow and bad weather so much lately, but guess what I saw this week on my front lawn, a flock of robins. Now either they were lost or in transition to go some where's because this is not the time nor place to be right now if you were a robin....

But it does make a person, stop and start pondering gardens and planting and such~:-D
