Good Morning MMC !!

yesterday was a beautiful day, actually went above 0c! This morning however we are back down to a wind chill of -24c (-11f) brrrrrrrrrr

Off to work again today. Yesterday no one showed up in the cash office which meant we opened the store and could only take debit or credit because I had no $$$. Someone came running in 1/2 hour later and in record time had our tills out to us. Then someone went home sick so we were short handed for awhile....fun start to my day. The rest went well and fast as it was busy.

Well, sure enough, the temperature soared yesterday to the upper 70's and the sun shone on the yard work I did.
But today will be different. Even though we have started out at 64 degrees, it will get steadily colder all day and
drop into the 20's by tonight with freezing rain predicted.
Ouch!!


Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks, whatever your weather.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high of 17. Which happens to be out temp right now. They say we are just going to hold steady this morning and then start dropping this afternoon until we fall below zero tonight. Luckily we didn't really get any snow last night. Just a slight dusting on the cars. It looks like they got hammered down south of us though. I need to run to the grocery store today and do some work on the computer. Other than that. Nothing to exciting going on. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great morning! What is the very first thing that happened to me that was great, that you may be pondering at the moment....Well, pull up an ice block, and I'll tell you!

First thing, I had my noodle head glued to the pillow this morning until 8:30; (Yessssss!!!!).

Second thing, I got up, went straight to the window and it looks like a snowmagedden outside...Yippee....Snow day; uh-huh! Snow day; uh-huh, get your flakes on, get your flakes on......

Third, it's not even 9:30 yet, and the coffee is in hand, feet is propped up and the fire place is on... Ohhhhhh baby, it doesn't get toooo much better than this for a Thursday morning~

Ok, now that I have come down out of the silver lined clouds this morning... I am home all day, (working from home) - the power of this computer aged life that we all live, where the software allows for me to remote log-in to my computer at the office and I can sit here, from the comfort of my home, (in my pj's and bunny slippers ) and work on my engineering drawings, etc... Ahhh Yes!!!!

As, as you can all see my giddiness, It's snowing it's badunk-a-dunk outside and I am in snow heaven at the moment, because later on this evening, I get to go outside and play with my "Big Boy Toy"~

Good evening, friends! Just spending my evening off with the kids. DH is working and the kids just helped me make a pizza. I've been reading to them for a little bit and after dinner here, we're going to lay down and watch Netflix for the evening and make some popcorn.

Nice try, but I never have used my new computer!!

I had been working on a computer in one of the other offices, and it has Outlook 2010. My new computer has Outlook 2013. They don't sync well together, so a lot of the things I have done in the other offices, don't show up on my new computer, unfortunately. So they're trying to find a way around that, for when I need to be in other areas of the building. It's quite frustrating, because I did a lot of work up there! Even today.

I'm watching the news right now and most of the school districts around here are closed. I'm really surprised that the preschool is open. Good evening! We are staying in tonight, (all of us), waiting for the winter storm to really settle in, the process has started, where we are getting rain and the temperature has dropped from 44 degrees to 36, in the last 2 hours. They are saying that the change over will be rain to sleet and freezing rain by 10 pm and then change-over to all snow around midnight.

8-12 inches is now the general range of the predicted snowfall amounts. Oh boy this is going to be great.....

I hope you are all safe & enjoying the winter weather!!! :smile:

Anybody else getting sleet/snow?

Non-stop sleet for 5 hours. Three inches of sleet will take 4 or 5 days to melt...but it is going to be below freezing through Saturday.

UGH.

Happy Snow Day .... it's snowing pretty good here. The kids and I have a snow day today and maybe tomorrow. Its so pretty outside and just reminds me so much of Christmas so .... I have Christmas music on, pine scented tart warming and getting ready to make cookies and hot chocolate with the kids. There is a very good chance I will pop in a Christmas movie or 2 this afternoon too.
