And what is significant is that we are now UNDER ONE WEEK AWAY from the half way point to Christmas Day 2015.

Good morning, everyone!

My teaching year is complete. It was a very fun and exciting year. I am actually already looking forward to September. Until then, there is a Summer to enjoy! Well, somewhat.

I start back at Passport Canada on Monday. For the past two summers, I have sworn that I would not return to processing passports, but the opportunity of guaranteed work for at least two months and decent pay is far too tempting to pass up.

The only good part about going back next week is that there is a Quebec holiday on Wednesday, so I will get paid for a day I don't work. Coincidentally, it also happens to be the Graduation at Russell. It will be my first time attending a graduation as a teach. I am excited to see how it goes and all the departing Grade 12s one last time.

Kim's nephews are here for a bit. I should probably hangout with them. Have a great Saturday, everyone. Enjoy your last day of Spring!!

Well, I just got back from my grandfathers, ugghhh, his leg looks awful. I'm going to have to call a couple of doctors on Monday. I just took him to the doctors this past Monday. I offered to take him to the ER and he refused; saying, "I don't want to sit there for 12 hours, waiting for them"!!!

What can I do?... So, back home now, have to take Vicki to work in a couple of hours, then, I guess I'll just hang out in the basement for the rest of the night, working on installing the domestic water piping down there...

I'll check on him tomorrow morning again...

Hope you see improvement by the morning, but it sounds like you may have to get them back into the doctor. Big hugs!

IANAD (or even AN), but I'd recommend taking him to the ER or a Minute Clinic whether he wants to go or not. You don't want to mess around with an infection if one is there. An infection can spread rapidly and is serious business. At least check on him today instead of tomorrow for signs of infection, and act quickly if there are any.
