Christmas Countdown - 2015

Happy Saturday!
My husband starts his vacation today, he will be off all of next week. He only gets two weeks vacation each year, July 4th week and the week of Christmas. No big plans. He has a few things he wants to do around the house but other than that he's just looking forward to relaxing. We plan on grilling some good food and hanging out by the pool all week. Hopefully the weather will be nice. Not looking so great today, there is a chance of thunderstorms and only a high of 72. We are currently at 64 degrees. I'll be heading out in a little bit to get my food shopping over with. Not sure what else we're doing today, we'll see what happens.

Good morning Friends...I am not up to much today. I am going to go to the gym in a bit and then I have to pick up daughter from a sleepover. Also need to go grocery shopping. The weather is not supposed to be too great so we will probably stay in tonight and watch a movie.

Want to talk about a long day, the last two hours of my shift lasted forever. The rare weekend off is here!!!



I came home and mowed the lawn, actually I trained JP how to mow the lawn, he did a great job. I don't want him mowing without supervision yet, but he said he liked it, we will continue to let him do it if we can be outside with him.



I am upset with the Bruins, they traded away one of my favorite players today, Milan Lucic, and drafted some kids who were not even the best players available. It looks like it may be a long season next year.

Well, yesterday's weather was a tale of two halves.

Quite warm early, then cooled off by an afternoon thunderstorm.

One more warm one today, then pleasant temps with no rain will be the order for Sunday.

For now, we commence our weekend at 72 degrees here in our little sector of MMC.

We plan to lay low, take Harlowe for a long walk, and watch some movies, possibly catch up on some reading, too.
