Geese crossing street in our park...
This guy to impatient to wait almost runs over some....
Geese getting hit by vehicles has happened especially when people are in such a hurry they cannot allow the birds to safely cross , this group had several young as well

That is awful and hateful. Hope someone got after him, and that the geese stay safe!

did not actually hit one thankfully, I would love to turn this person in for carelessness. There are so many young geese, ducks and soon swans in the park this time of the year.
Good evening everyone. It was just an awful day today (all day long) outside. It's been raining, windy and I do not believe it has stopped raining since I got up this morning. I decided to take the weekend off from my job and just get this done around here. I finished up the plumbing work down in the basement, installed the electrical boxes for the refrigerator, freezer, washer and dryer and started pulling the electrical cables.
Tomorrow I will finish running the electric back to the main panels. Then come upstairs and do some work upstairs. I was hoping to get some things done home because I know I will hardly be home next week. They have me scheduled to work 12 - 18 hours a day... sigh!
I got the Hobbit DVD's for a Fathers Day gift and I've seen the first two but not the last one, I'm going to watch that tonight.

We're hanging in there. My husband picked up Molly's ashes today. My heart is heavy. But as painful as it is, I'm glad my baby girl is back home again.

Jacob's band did get to play at Six Flags, but their gig was delayed due to rain. When we were finally taking the equipment back to the car, the bottom fell out and we got soaked. We came back to the hotel, showered and went to lunch. Now we have just returned from fetching a blizzard from Dairy Queen.

Holiday In The Park? All we get is Fright Fest for Halloween at Six Flags, something about it being too cold and snowy in December up here. The nerve... cheesy
JP's Cub Scout Den Leader's parents own that park, when we go to his house for meetings there us a whole bunch of paraphernalia from the park. We hope to get to go there as maybe a camping trip with the scouts one of these years.
had a very upset bird in the back yard, he was very noisy for about 10 min, never did figure out why.
Beautiful bird! Probably upset about the rain.
