We're supposed to have our hottest week so far, too.

Ok, maybe it's just me but I feel like I'm in a bit of a funk this morning and can't shake it. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I couldn't get out for my run this morning due to it raining this morning. So I had about an hour of extra sleep which instead of making me feel refreshed just made me more tired. Then I come into work with this new work assignment that just seems like it's gonna be a real pain in the duff and I soooo don't want to deal with it right now.

I'm in the midst of making a packing list of things we'll need to start gathering for our vacation in two weeks. I still have not made concrete arrangements for our dog's care while we're gone. I need to make a run to Target to return a top for my daughter and hopefully find a replacement as well as pick up toiletries and snacks for the plane. The weekend before we leave my girls will be visiting their dad so that means mum either has to have them pack just about everything they will need for the two week trip by this weekend or I have to pack up everything for the pair of them including my 17yr old while they're gone and hope for the best. UGH!!!

I am with you, today is a tough Monday.

Sometimes there is just not enough time in the day!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot week here with temps around 90 and feel like temps well over 100. We also had about 3 hours of heavy rain last night. That put us over the threshold for the wettest month ever in central Indy. A lot of people flooded for the 3rd time this month. It's killing the farmers too. The last number I heard was that 30% of the corn crop and 25% of the soybean crop was going to be lost due to all of the rain and the fields laying in water. I have to babysit all day today. My sister has to work registration at the school she works at. So at least I'm at my aunts house with central air, internet, and cable tv for the day!!! WooHoo!! Of course, my niece's handed me a to do list as soon as I walked in the door. I've already had to tighten all of the bolts on their bunk beds and rebuild 2 dresser drawers that they broke. Then mom has to go back for her second sleep study tonight. They are going to try her out on 2 different machines to see which one works best for her. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

After all the talk about how warm it's supposed to be this week, I looked at our forecast...looks like high 80's for us! It was warm over the weekend, but not complaining! At least it didn't rain until last night! We had family pictures yesterday (Hubby's side) looking forward to seeing how they turned out. We snapped a few pictures of Jim & I & Gracie at the lake before we left for the family party. She didn't want to look at the camera. LOL! The going away party at the lake on Saturday was very nice. Sad to see our neighbors go! We'll miss them! Other than that....it's Monday again....
