I am on vacation, again!!! I am very tired and we have a very, very busy weekend ahead of us. My wife's family from Canada are coming down for the weekend to celebrate my MIL's 60th birthday party. Her birthday was back in March, but this is the first time they have been available to visit. So I may be sparse in these parts the next few days.

Had my sons 1st Birthday today. And watching him open his gifts got me excited for his excitement with Christmas!

Garage sale day, going to two vans so we have lots of room for all the loot we will be gathering. (6 of us going)
Supposed to get quite warm today with a bit of rain but over all nice.
I feel so much better this morning since sleeping almost 10 hours, something I rarely do but apparently needed this time.

I'm heading out to the supermarket soon to do my food shopping. My daughter is having a big Luau party this evening so I'll be helping her today to get everything ready. I'll pop back in later to catch up here. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

I just got an email from Bath and Body Works. All fall candles are 2 for 24 bucks - yay! That's what I have been waiting for and I have a coupon for 10 bucks off any purchase of 30 bucks or more. Guess what I will be buying this weekend???

Hey y'all! Just catching the last bit of Christmas on QVC. I can see that it has been a busy day here! Hope y'all enjoyed it!

Tomorrow is 90 days to that season. Gosh, the last 10 flew by fast. It's going to be Halloween before we know it. Hope everyone is well. I've got a slow weekend planned, just going to take it easy before school starts. I'm ready to see the kids, but I do not like the craziness of the first day of school! See y'all in the morning!

A Wildly Wonderful Weekend Eve Morning to everyone out there in the MMC Nation, and a Merry Milestone Day as well!

So much on our plate this morning.

Let's pause and look at the numbers:

Days to Christmas Day: 133

And ah, yes! 'Tis true, 'tis true!
As of today.
As of this very day.
We are THREE QUARTERS OF THE WAY BACK to our much loved and coveted CHRISTMAS SEASON!
(I can almost see the poinsettia on our dining room table.)


Nice weather?
We have it here in spades.
Would be great if it could continue but the H&H are scheduled to return by the start of next week.
Today has begun at a nice, pleasant 70 degrees here in our sector of MMC Land.

We're at mid-August, and it appears that everyone is getting into the Fall/Halloween spirit! I snapped these photos yesterday at Homesense:

I'm sure all of you have been seeing signs of the next "season" popping up everywhere! I am enjoying it. For now, I will use this to contain my excitement until the debut of something magical.
