Good Evening, friends~
Hope you have a Merry night! God bless.

:tree:

Exciting!!!

Seems everyone is putting in lots of hours! Wayne has been having to work 2 hours over every night and Saturdays. My son was suppose to be off today and got called in.

I hope you get some time off to rest!!!
Thank you!
Yes, everybody's working hard! (That's my morning alarm---"Hard Work"!)
Happily, I have Friday off. That is mostly what's keeping me on my feet at this point!

OK. 'Pines Day is here again.
Carl is starting to feel frisky since we are just 13 days away from the start of the 'bers. Not only that, but he is aware that the Christmas Blossoms thread makes its annual appearance next month.
In recognition of this, Carl has set up a virtual gallery in the main hall at the 'Pines of every Blossoms photo which has appeared here at MMC over the years. Thousands of photos!
(You don't want to miss this visit........or the fired twinkies!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks

Carl and me both. I had to stop into Tinseltown today to pickup a small gift for a friend's wedding this weekend. He and his future wife both enjoy Christmas, so I wanted to get them a "first..." ornament that they couldn't find anywhere else. I had anticipated a quick visit. Instead, I looked around for an extra few minutes and revelled in the smells, sights, and sounds of Christmas. '13 days until the 'bers begin... and roughly about five weeks until we can officially celebrate the debut of the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year!

As for Carl's display... Well, it brings back grand memories.

Well, Halloween Alley still hasn't opened at the mall yet but the merchandise is about all filled in.

As my 2nd, over-the-barrier shot reveals!

Thanks, Crown! Not quite A Christmas To Remember, yet it still brings great joy!

What a thoughtful gift, I'm sure they will treasure it.
Glad you got to enjoy some Christmassy moments, too.
Happy Pines Day, Brent!

Good luck to O'Cat today! Hope the apt goes well!!! xx

Well, we thought O'Malley would have lost a few pounds now that he's eating better quality grain-free food, NOPE.

Weighing in at 27.6 lbs, with one paw raised off the scale, I present the King of all wild things.
WannaPieceofMe.jpg

His teeth, heart, lungs, etc. are all good, the weight the VET bothers me about every year. I don't want him to have heart problems or diabetes, but he simply isn't as active as he used to be. I have gone down 2 clothing sizes since O'Malley weighed 18 lbs, but the Vet reminded me that the instructions were for the cat. HeeHee. At least she didn't call him "Obese" that would have shattered his furry ego.

He is a handsome wild boy :)
Glad to hear that he had a pretty good check-up!

Good Morning, MMC!!! Its a humid day here but we should get some storms here this afternoon to help knock it out. Mom is at her normal 2nd day level. Droopiness is gone but can't walk without her Walker and help. I'm sitting at target now waiting on her new meds to get filled. I'll try to check in later but my laptop decided yesterday would be a good day to kick the bucket. So until I can get it fixed, it will be a little sketcky. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!
I feel the ouch in your heart - Keeping you and your mom in my thoughts, hope you aren't without our merry support too long. Hugs from the North!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I stubbed my pinky toe the day before yesterday, and it's still throbbing! I've been getting Nancy to doctor it for me every morning. It's hard to put on steel-toe boots with a sore toe!

I worked on my side business for a while yesterday afternoon, then we had dinner with Nancy's dad, Bernie. Mrs. Hilda went on a trip to Michigan with Nancy's sister, who's attending a conference. They won't be back till Sunday, and I think he's already lonely.

I finally won an Ebay auction! It's not the one I wanted the most, I lost that one, but this one will look pretty cool in the Camaro!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

I dislocated the second to the big toe on my left foot on a rebounder and the pain was bad enough, but when I removed my sock and saw it pointing in the wrong direction, I nearly fainted. I didn't opt for the breaking and re-setting thing, insteadI took the split with two toes tied together and a few pain killers. Funny how much you need certain body parts to function . Sometimes when I'm attempting to run (I'm not a runner), it still hurts, but it might be "ghost pain", I'm sure it's well mended after the last 28 years. I feel for you.

I'm Great Aunt again - my niece (My Goddaughter) had a baby girl today. Kate Elizabeth. 7 lbs. 3 oz. :) All is good!
That's exciting, I love the smell of babies - baby powder, and fabric softener with a touch of oatmeal cookie smell on the side.

Where's that Camel? I'll just hang around - waiting - or spin out and search for the festivities and blossoms to unfold.

If I were a camel and I had three humps
I tell ye what I would do
I'd buy me some nog
Start a PINES blog
Come gather there, won't you!

Good Morning!

Carl wishes to announce it is 'Pines Day.
I told him everyone already knows that but he insisted so there, I announced it.
More about today's open house below.

First, on with the count:
Days to the Season: 86
Days to Christmas Day: 128

Under a week away now from our next Milestone, the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day.
Yes, you read that right -- UNDER a single week away.
And at that point, we will enter the FINAL THIRD of our Christmas Day count.
(Wowzers!)

After a brief venture back into the heart of Summer on Monday, yesterday saw an improvement although it came accompanied by rain.
Today should be wet too, but fortunately I got the lawn mowed yesterday before the rain came.
Today has dawned at 75 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina and it looks like rain.
