Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening,
I am feeling very tired tonight, I was all by my lonesome at work today, felt I was going 110 MPH all day. My dogs are really barking tonight, 3 more days until a day off.
JP and LC start school tomorrow, back to making lunches, homework and all that stuff, another milestone on the way back to Christmas. The boys are quite excited about school, but I am sure that will last a day or 2 before we get the "I don't wanna go" chants.
I did see the first Christmas themed magazine today, it was called "Holiday Crafts" It is starting to get closer!!!
I need to get some sleep, I am beat.

Hope the kids have a great first day of school. My kids starts school next week so this weekend will be spent baking and stocking the freezer with some premade lunches, especially for my oldest. Hope things at work calm down for you.
Good morning ... Fall and the holidays are getting closer!!! I was at the grocery store last night and the whole front of the outside was filled with mums and bagged cinnamon scented pinecones. Inside the store the seasonal isle is full of halloween candy.
Well we signed the contracts for the new house last night. Nerves and excitement are kicking into high gear. Excited for a large house but nervous about a larger mortgage payment. We have outgrown this house and do need to get a larger one but I will miss this house and our wonderful neighbors.

I love seeing all of the Fall decorations & foods in stores. I bought mums a few weeks ago, since storms had destroyed all of my summer plants on the deck. This is the best time of the year.

feels like fall in the air here too, cooler temps and drizzzle rain the last few days, even spotted a tree starting to put on its fall makeup. The potted mums have arrived at our store, will not be long before the pumpkins are out for sale too.
work was hard yesterday because my body was still on vacation mode and did not like having to work all day again. But it is good to be back and always grateful that I have a job to go to that I enjoy.
I want to get busy here at home cleaning everything before starting my fall decorating and planning my Christmas decorating!

I'm hanging in there...only two more days! And then I'll have to try and collect the pieces of things that fell through the cracks the last two weeks...but that's okay!!
It'll be okay because only two more days and the ber months start next week!!!! Glad to hear you're splitting the hours with him so that you get to see each other, but will be happy for you when it's over!
Morning Fall-Loving Friends! AC is off and windows are open! 1% or so of trees outside are beginning to change colors...it's wonderful and exciting. The anticipation for September is keeping me going during the busy season! I'm working hard today and tomorrow to finish up teaching music strong and then I can FINALLY settle in for a normal fall routine. It's been months since I had that with travel and other obligations. Fall for me begins Saturday, and I just can't wait. I hope you all have a great Thursday!!!!
