[Christmas-A-Holic]

Hubby and I went out looking at Autumn, Halloween and Christmas goodies over the weekend. While looking at Christmas stuff and thoroughly enjoying it we could hear the grumbles from customers as they walked past the aisles. "OH my gosh, Christmas already"!!! We should have turned to them and said, "MuHahahahaha, so evil, isn't it"?!!! We didn't care, we loved it!!! I honestly have no issues with those who don't care for Christmas stuff but no one is forcing them to walk down any of those aisle. My advice to them is, just keep walking!!! Problem solved! There are sections of stores I don't care for. I don't complain, I just don't shop in them!

My hubby, Snow-in-Texas, and I saw a lot and wanting to buy a new tree from them. They have one there that they display every year that he wants real bad. It is lightly flocked with berries and pine cones on it. It's a little pricey but maybe one day we will get it!

Just had my excitement for the day. 4 fire trucks, 2 ambulances, 2 fire captains, 2 suv's with extra EMT's, 3 policemen all from different agency's, and every person who works for my apartment complex just converged here to rescue a little old lady who apparently tried to kill herself in the woods at the end of the street. Luckily, she was sitting up on the stretcher when they wheeled her out so it doesn't look like she got very far along with it.

We're expecting lots of rain from Erika as she passes through our area for the next couple days. Boy, it's overcast, warm and humid around here. Yuck!

The kids had a very busy weekend, which means Nancy & I had a very busy weekend. Still, I wouldn't miss it for anything!

I'm heading out soon to run a few errands, back home afterward to work on a few chores around the house. I think I'm going to take a ride back to HomeGoods today to pick up some Halloween decorations, I saw so many that I liked when I was there a couple of days ago. Good morning, friends! Hope you're having a great Monday so far! I've been busy! I've been baking - trying to use up the last of my zucchini from our garden. I've made a few loaves of zucchini bread and some cookies. I'm also going to decorate for fall today too, since I'm going to be busy in the coming days. DH wants chicken pot pie for dinner, so I plan on making that tonight. I do have a massage scheduled for this afternoon, so I'm really looking forward to that!

Last night Gracie allowed me to share my blanket with her...


If her face looks a little greasy it's b/c the little stinker found the grease pan under the grill & she did NOT want to let it alone!!!
She gets groomed tomorrow. And her hair is finally the length I like them...but she is TOO HOT!

Adorable!!!!!! Hope she has fun at the groomers tomorrow!!!
