Christmas Countdown - 2015

I see that some stores have Christmas stuff now. Everyone is loaded down with Fall/Thanksgiving stuff. I love this time of year! I kind of wish they would wait on the Christmas stuff, though.

We were at Lowes last night and they were putting up Halloween decorations.....Nice!

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
I've been cleaning bathrooms for the past couple of hours. Fun, fun, fun. Taking a quick coffee break before I get back to cleaning. I need to head to the supermarket this morning as well to pick up a few things.
My daughter officially starts her new job today, I'm praying she loves it.
And my hubby took down all of my Fall decorations over the weekend so I'll finally start to decorate this afternoon!
That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Fall Decoration! Yes....Let the season of fun begin! I'm hoping to pull ours out soon as well.

I was reading the Hagerstown Farmers Almanac last night and there are a few things that I read that I have to share. I saw the snow word for the first time this season, listed for the Rocky Mountains and Northern Plains in the month of October. Also, we have lost about 2 hours of daylight since June 22nd and we will loose another hour, just this month alone.
And last, according to the almanac, it is predicting a White Christmas! Fingers crossed for that one....

Hot one today! Whewww... 93 degrees and 55% humidity - yuck! Perfect mosquito weather.... I got home and been outside since repairing a Patio swing that my FIL dropped off. It is a good swing, just needed a new post and some sanding.. I put a new post on and lagged and bolted it real nice. it works great. But between the heat, stagnate air, mosquitoes, I paid for it. Come-on high of 70 and low of 50, good Fall weather and like no bugs...

Isn't wonderful that tomorrow is hump day already, Love that! Just watching Chopped and relaxing before calling it a night.

I've been thinking about you and Harlowe, how did she do today? Praying her appointment went well.
Maggie did a little bit better but she still had me up a couple of times. And I don't know what I'm going to do with Sophia, she wakes me up at the crack of dawn every day. She's like a rooster!

Hope the cleaning is going well, I did some yesterday. Fun is an understatement Ha Ha!
Prayers for your daughter on her first day! I hope it goes smoothly, and that she enjoys it!

Harlowe did okay, I think!
Melissa called to ask about a note I had written her about her cut. She said Har was a bit nervous but still being sweet and doing fine.
She looks great & seems normal. She was happy to see me, excited, like she typically is when I get home from work.
Last time, it was like she was scared & in pain, which she was
So I'm happy! Hope it continues for next time

Happy Tuesday friends!! Hope you are all having a great start to your day. I definitely have some Christmas music on the agenda today. It is going to be so hot in the mid 90's. Some schools are closing early. Three of our 4 schools have air but my oldest daughter in middle school, they do not so I am sure the classrooms are going to be so hot. I sent her with a few bottles of water and told her to make sure she drinks them!

I saw that on the news today how schools in CT were closing early today, the heat was absolutely brutal today. Keep cool tomorrow.

Not much to report on my FIL, Ken, unfortunately.
They got back some preliminaries, just enough to scare us. Nothing concrete yet.
They re-ran the EEG, and CT. And their results are conflicting. I'm guessing different people are reading them, too. My SIL and Adrian have seen 5 different neurologists.
So frustrating.
Thanks again for all of your prayers & kind words. I will keep you posted.

It was a scorcher here today, the thermometer in the car said 98*f at one point.
I did go see Vacation today, I enjoyed it, not as good as the original, or Christmas Vacation, but a fun film.
I am heading to sleep, another dayoff awaits.
