Looks rather like a huntsman spider. Quite harmless but scary. We used to get them from time to time when we lived in Florida.
If it was quiet, you could hear them run across the wall. That's what used to really creep me out!
We get a lot of these around here:

I FREAK OUT when I walk (or ride the mower) into one of these webs! :eek:
 
It's almost quitting time!!! My Mom has my afghan finished, so I'm going to go pick that up. YAY!! Have a Merry Monday evening everyone!!!!

Around here we call them banana spiders. They aren't all THAT big, but almost. As Elizabeth used to say, "Qweepy!"
So cute!!! Of course I'm talking about Elizabeth!! ;)

I'm hoping their bite isn't toxic or poisonous?
