I love taking a late lunch!!! :)

I agree & Brrrr! I could do without all the biting wind!!!

It does have it's benefits. Cold is good for the Christmas season. Once New Years comes I'm over the cold and snow big time.

Abbot & Costello Meet Frankenstein is a funny movie! I watch it every time I catch it playing.

Mrs. Hilda's feeling much better today, thanks!

No Dunkin Donuts around here. I live in a VERY rural area. The closest real coffee shop is 30 miles away. Starbucks and Elliano's.
Yeah it is pretty funny.
I'm glad she's doing better.
Ahh I have like 5 Dunkin Donuts within 5 miles of my house. I think they monopolize the northeast.

Hmm did Abbot and Costello meet Dracula also in a separate movie? I know they met the wolfman in one...the Frankenstein one always stuck out to me though.
Dracula, the Wolf Man, AND the Frankenstein monster are all in "A&C Meet Frankenstein"---plus, the Invisible Man has a "cameo" at the end. It's a darn good movie! Glenn Strange played the monster in that one, though, not Karloff.

We have the great fortune to know a young lady of 89 who was a teenage star at Universal in the early 1940s. She used to wander over to the makeup department to watch Jack Pierce work on the monsters when she wasn't needed on the set, or watch Charles Previn and the orchestra recording scores for the movies. Amazing memories.

I knew they were all 3 in that same movie but I thought they also made a separate one for the Wolf Man. But yeah I remember the Invisible man at the end of it. That brings back memories. My parents used to put that on for us a lot.

That's pretty cool that you know her.

Good evening, MMC!

Happy October 1 !!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well! Been trying to log on here for a few days now, but nothing but trouble for me with this site and this site alone. Ugh!

Other than Saturday when one of my outdoor cats, Tiggins, died, things are going good. Very busy with work and projects. I just might have bit off more than I can chew. Time will tell! Chores await. I was planning on spending a bit of time on here today, but it took over a half hour to load this one page so I won't be able to now. Hopefully the next time things will be quicker ~ miss you guys!!

Be MERRY!!!

Good Evening, Meceka~

So sorry to hear about Tiggins.
(((Hugs)))
Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers ❤️

Bummer about having trouble with the site, you are missed.

Hope things slow down a bit for you. Fingers crossed that you're still enjoying your work & the projects, even if they are a lot right now.

Thinking of you!

Have a merry night ~

Xx

Frost Advisory
Cool air continues to settle in over Southern Ontario as an Arctic high pressure area builds over far Northeastern Ontario. Clear skies and cool conditions will prevail tonight with temperatures bottoming out close to the freezing mark near dawn. Somewhat breezy northeast winds are expected which will minimize the risk of any widespread frost. Only patchy frost is expected in sheltered or low-lying areas.

it has been chilly here and thought we had some frost this morning, but looks like it might well be here tonight
