Good October morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a long morning. Nancy's mom (who spent several months in the hospital getting over a bad fall and heart trouble) fell last night about 2:30 am while trying to get to the bathroom. Bernie couldn't get her up, so he called us. She wasn't seriously hurt, but she still has major mobility issues, so she couldn't get herself up. It took some time, but we got her on her feet, and she was better then. I couldn't go back to sleep when I got home, though.

AND I'M OUT OF COFFEE AT WORK!!! AHHHH!

Other than that, everything is lovely around here.

I hope everyone is doing well! Been trying to log on here for a few days now, but nothing but trouble for me with this site and this site alone. Ugh!

Other than Saturday when one of my outdoor cats, Tiggins, died, things are going good. Very busy with work and projects. I just might have bit off more than I can chew. Time will tell! Chores await. I was planning on spending a bit of time on here today, but it took over a half hour to load this one page so I won't be able to now. Hopefully the next time things will be quicker ~ miss you guys!!

Good evening everyone, super busy and long day. I'm exhausted. Hope I can get some sleep tonight. Maggie's appointment with the holistic veterinarian went pretty well. He sent us home with herbal capsules that will hopefully help her. He wants her to take them in addition to the cough suppressant that she's already on. I'm going to try my best to get her to take all of these pills but I'm kind of worried, it's definitely going to be a challenge. He said it could take up to a week before we know if it's helping for her. Fingers crossed, I'll let you know what happens.

Good night everyone. Hope you all had a good 1st day of October...all the best months have just begun. Let's savour each day and moments together here. Dreary weather out today but it felt like October...just hope eventually we see the sun again and that the Hurricane goes out to sea which is what the latest forecasts I heard were.

Evening everyone,
Just a quick visit tonight. I went to bed last night feverish and achy and haven't been feeling all that great today. It didn't help that it was a hectic day too.

I have barely had time to sit. Lovely day though. My youngest had his Harvest assembly He and his classmates sang harvest songs. So cute!! My other son's harvest day is on Friday at the local church. I always look forward to it.

Last day of September!! WOW!

Sorry I can't catch up but hope you are all well and ready to welcome October!

I LOVE a good monster or ghost movie! I can't wait!

I don't do gory horror movies but give me the classics like Frankenstein and I'm okay. I even picked up a Frankenstein t-shirt a couple weeks ago.

We had to run out and get JP some new jeans and long sleeve shirts now that the chilly fall weather has settled in. We are sitting at a brrrr-inducing 49*f, and JP has a Cub Scout camp out tomorrow.
I am up late again, so I should probably get some sleep.

Woke up to a foggy and frosty morning. It is clearing now and it is set to warm up. This week has been unusually warm with temps reaching 16C!!! It's been beautiful and considering we barely had sunshine and warmth in August, I am happy to have had this week.
