Thanks Snowflake. I logged on here the past two evenings to say goodnight and I feel asleep both times before I had the chance. I'm going to end up sleep texting something silly one of these nights!
Maggie's still coughing, that's whats keeping me up at night. It's been really tough getting her to take the medicine from the holistic doctor. I wish it came in a tablet form instead of the capsule so I could cut it up in to tiny pieces. I'm doing the best I can but she's just not taking it consistently.

Well today it feels more like November...yesterday it felt more like December so I guess that's a slight upgrade. Slightly warmer today.

Sorry to hear that Maggie is still coughing often at night. Continued prayers in getting her to take the holistic meds.
Have you tried just having your daughter's administer it, with you out of the room?
Not sure if that would help at all, but when I got very frustrated with Harlowe, and Adrian was out of town, our neighbor Joanna (Petunia's Mom) came over to do it and she struggled with her but succeeded in the end.
Just a suggestion. I know Har fed off of my frustration, as much as I tried to hide it.

We are still in the 30s, but we will hit right around 62° today. Should be gorgeous.

Yeah our normal high this time of year is 66...so as long as we can get close to normal this upcoming week and the sun is out it should feel pretty pleasant.

Lasagna in the oven...makes me think of Christmas Day as I said earlier. Fortunately, it's October 4th instead and we have the best 3 months of the year just beginning now.
Did I mention how nice it is to have the sun out after not seeing it for a full week?

Looks like my plans of studying today are halfway being changed to going out for a while. It's too nice outside...probably will study later when I get home before dinner. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday afternoon.

Good evening,
I have made it as far as I can, couldn't get caught up tonight, I keep falling asleep.
It was a very busy day at work, and knocked me on my butt.
Tomorrow we will head out to do our apple picking, and a family meal of sausages and meatballs over spaghetti.
The eggnog came in today, and it was already selling, another sign of the fast approaching season.

MC, you will be happy to know that Hood Vanilla Eggnog is back. The quarts are selling for $2.50 this year, half gallons have not come in yet.

Funny you should mention that. I was at the supermarket this morning and I heard a little girl say "Oooh, eggnog!" I turned around and, sure enough, there was the Hood eggnog---including vanilla. I haven't bought any yet. I may just continue to make my own, now that I have a stick blender and a bottle of Torani vanilla syrup!

Oh that's right I forgot you had dental surgery this past week. Hope everything went well and you are recovering quickly.

Yes, I am, thank you! No pain to speak of, and the sutures come out Thursday. I just have to be careful of what I eat until then.

Guess the gloomy weather all week made everyone go out today cause the roads and stores were busy. You would have thought people were out Christmas shopping around Thanksgiving weekend.

Haha, yes we're such a lively bunch!

I'll have to ask the girls to try, they are usually the ones that distract her for me. And I have to try the pill dispenser that you told me about, I'll pick one up tomorrow. I really don't think I'll get that in her mouth but I'm willing to try. I'm afraid of hurting her too, you know? She's such a tiny little thing. I'll keep you posted!

Enjoy dinner! I was going to make lasagna today but I was lazy and just threw together a tray of baked ziti, much easier. Still yummy though.
