Good Morning MMC !

Love waking up to these chilly mornings.

off to the farmers market, need some cheese and the best I've tasted is sold there.
then home to quick decorate a couple of small cakes for my nieces, they turned one and two this month, birthdays only a few days apart.

We buried Pocket yesterday, she is in the orchard at my brothers place next to their dog Charlotte. It is a beautiful spot. My son made a cross to make her grave site. We miss her so much.

Heading out soon to run some errands; going to take my car through the car wash for the first time EVER. My husband always does it for me as a surprise, but I'm doing it today. I know, make sure the windows are rolled up.
I also have to shop for a birthday gift for my husband and my dad who both celebrate on Monday. Haven't got their cards yet either and that takes a good half hour to sort through and make a decision.

Going to make hearty potato soup this weekend for lunches at work during the week. Thanks for the recipe, Holiday.

Good Morning, MMC!

I'm waking up feeling a little under the weather this morning, so I'm just praying that I can take good care of myself today and stop it from turning into a full blown sick. The weather change always gets me, especially when I went out running in it I guess!

Today's focus is on taking good care of myself. Mondays are tough as it is! Nobody needs them to be harder than they are!

Hope you all have a wonderful day today. Perhaps we will see the sun for the first time in over a week! I'm sure I'll be blinded by it and have to put my glasses on!

Good Monday morning MMC. We currently have 49 degrees under mostly cloudy skies in the suburbs of NY. Our first full week of October is here. Let's enjoy them because in January and February we will wish we were back at this point. The anticipation is building. I won't even rush my Monday. I'm just enjoying the fact that we are getting so close to the Christmas season yet haven't even started it yet so we have time still to think about everything we want to do during it.
My busy week last week is over but there will be some "leftovers" if you will. Should keep me busy enough this week without being too crazy. Mondays are always a little tough but not terrible. Monday just has a bad reputation I think. I'm going to try to study a bit after work and then relax after that. Hopefully I won't feel too wiped out from Monday when I get home.
Hope everyone has a great Monday. I've only been back a week but it really does feel like "home." Love having this place to come to every day. It's very comforting.

Yeah, Mondays never really bother me, either. Of course, I'm lucky; I like my job. LOL Enjoy your day!
And yes, MMC is hard to beat!

Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!
Another rough night, I'm going to need a lot of coffee today. Typical day of errands and chores. My husband and I also need to go back to the court office, I decided I want to ask the Small Claims Court Clerk if we can serve Molly's surgeon with a subpoena. I think I forgot to mention our court date is December 17th. Not happy about it being the week before Christmas but I didn't have a choice. I'm also going to file a complaint with the New York State Office of Professional Discipline. This has nothing to do with the small claims case. They are the licensing body of veterinarians. If I file a complaint they are required to launch an investigation. So I'll be working on that today as well. Like I said, it may be hard for me to prove wrongdoing but I'm going to try my best. At least I'll know I did all that I could have possibly done and then we can finally put this all behind us.
That's about it for me. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and has a great week ahead!

I know this has been a strain on you and your family. Praying that you get a resolution soon!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a wet weekend, but not as wet as some of you had to endure. I hope no one had a serious issues from the rain.

Jacob's band had an outdoor gig Saturday morning. They played it in the misting rain under a tent, and there was a crowd of folks there! The event was called "greenfest", with different exhibitions demonstrating recycling and renewable energy ideas. It was a good show!

Our church's Homecoming was yesterday. A pastor I haven't seen in 12 years was the guest speaker. It was good to see him and his family again. His kids are J & E's age, and we both couldn't believe how big they've gotten LOL. After service, we had lunch in the social hall. That was the best food ever!

That afternoon, I checked the StealthCam for signs of deer at the hunting plot. I saw a doe and a few "yearlings", but no bucks yet. The seeds I planted last week are already sprouting, so it should be a good season.

The sun's coming out tomorrow!! I hope y'all have a great day!

Good morning everyone, Happy Sunday!
Just finished frying a batch of meatballs and started cooking a big pot of Sunday sauce. Smells good in here already. It's going to be another dreary and cool day. At least it's not raining. I don't have too much planned for today. I never finished decorating the front of my house so I may do that. I have my pumpkins & mums out there but I still have to get my lawn decorations in the ground. My husband will have to come out and help me, I don't usually have the strength to push those stakes in the ground. I'm hoping to catch up on some rest today, haven't been sleeping well at all. We'll see how that goes. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

I'm guessing Sunday sauce is a pasta sauce? YUM! I hope Maggie & you had a better night last night! xx

Thanks Snowflake. I logged on here the past two evenings to say goodnight and I feel asleep both times before I had the chance. I'm going to end up sleep texting something silly one of these nights!
Maggie's still coughing, that's whats keeping me up at night. It's been really tough getting her to take the medicine from the holistic doctor. I wish it came in a tablet form instead of the capsule so I could cut it up in to tiny pieces. I'm doing the best I can but she's just not taking it consistently.

Poor sweet baby! I hope you can figure a way to get her to take her medicine! Sending hugs & prayers!!!

Yes, I know.
They are big pills, and she is so tiny.
I struggle to give Har her probiotics, which are the big capsules, and she's bigger than Maggie.
There were a few different medications that we had to give Harlowe over the years long term, and we ordered them from Wedgewood Pharmacy, because they were available in tablets, where through my vet, they weren't. Maybe you could ask about that.

One of Gracie's meds comes from Wedgewood Pharmacy. It is a compounded med, liquid - chicken flavor. I wonder if they can do that with the herbal meds for Maggie? Hmmmm

I am too, getting wish list from family, planning what to bake and when I need to get started with it. Working on making sure I have lots of cards. Also got hooked on crocheting, already made a couple of gifts and working on 2 more. Hope I can get them done in time .

I started an afghan over the weekend for my Secret Santa....I'm hoping I can get it done too, or I may have to give it to her as a "work in progress" Good luck!!!
