It's more fall candy than Halloween, but I love those little candy corn pumpkins! I was just telling my sister about them last night. I feel like you either love them or hate them, though! In terms of wrapped candy, I LOVE Twix and the Midnight Milky Ways!
Twix has always been my favorite, but Reeses and Snickers are not far behind. My mom has always liked Milky Way.

Good Morning, Day-Before-The-Home Stretch Breathless Anticipators!

Well, that particular wait is just about over.
Tomorrow, in fact. We enter the LAST TEN PERCENT of our voyage to Christmas Season 2015.
(Remarkable. Just remarkable.)

Days to the Season: 38
Days to Christmas Day: 80

(Yep. Everything checks out. Tomorrow is definitely a ** MILESTONE DAY **!)

Well, we had one final day of rain yesterday -- our 12th in a row!
Boy, am I ready for a dry spell and I'm holding the weather service to it.
(Lots of yard work has been left undone!)
We record 55 degrees at this hour here in the capital city, and yes -- incredible though it may seem -- the SUN is out!!

I'm all set to have a Totally Terrific Tuesday Today! How about you?

It's unreal we are in to the home stretch Crown. Thanks for the count update.

We can't talk football here, I am sadly a Cowboys fan and we suck :sway
lol
How did this week start already?????

I have been a die hard Cowboys fan since I was a kid. Have to be, live in Cowboys country! :D Good or bad, I will always stay a fan. So many injuries with the team, I hope they can improve without these players!

Good morning everyone!
Happy Tuesday!
I have to head out in a little bit, I have an early morning doctor appointment. Just a routine exam. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. I also need to run to the supermarket at some point. And I have to go to the pet store as well, I wanted to go yesterday but didn't make it there.
I went to Michael's yesterday and while I was there I signed up for a crochet class. It's not until the end of the month but I'm really looking forward to it. I always wanted to learn, I hope I get the hang of it.
My Thanksgiving Taste of Home magazine came in the mail yesterday too. I can't wait to look at it and start planning my menu. So exciting!
That's about it for me. I've got to run, I have to make breakfast & lunches before I head out. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

The crochet class sounds like fun! I have thought about getting into that sometime! Enjoy!

Thanks snowflake! It's hard not to stay merry with so many wonderful folks around here! The Christmas light trees are back on QVC to celebrate!
Woo hoo! Hope you see the lasers, too! That will really make your day ;)

Good Morning MMC !!

it is a lovely morning here. Getting ready for work, 5 days in a row this week, wish I could these kind of hours all the time.

Hope you all have a fantastic day !
Good morning! Have a fabulous day at work!

Have a Merry day!

Good Wednesday morning MMC. Currently we have 46 degrees and clear skies in the suburbs of NY. On to that 2nd day of the week known as Tuesday. Ironically, I used to always feel like I was so tired on Tuesdays (more-so than Mondays) but the last couple of years I've felt like each day through the week I gain a little more energy so Monday is actually my most tired day. How's everyone feeling this October Tuesday?
Ever notice when you sleep less you feel less tired when you wake up? Seems like when I sleep 6-7 hours I wake up feeling good. If I sleep closer to 8 I wake up feeling tired. That just doesn't seem right does it? Today I should be fairly busy at work but not too busy to check on MMC throughout the day of course. I'm thinking of buying some Halloween candy this week. Any suggestions on what to buy? Snickers? Twix? Reeses? All of the above? Of course it's for the kids that will come by for Halloween not for me...right? I almost convinced myself of that.
Have a great Tuesday and talk to you guys later.
Big spender! Chocolate is too expensive to give away! LOL We go with the bubble gum and mega packs of assorted hard candies.

Oh so YOU were the ones we didn't like as kids giving us that stale bubble gum haha ;).
Actually a lady used to give us popcorn every year...and the bags were open. My parents always made us throw it out.
Agreed giving away valuable chocolate is tough to do so I'll have to save some for myself :).

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to go to one of my few remaining city council meetings last night. It's starting to sink in that I'm on the way out. A lame duck! LOL

We're still eating leftovers from the church Homecoming a couple days ago. It's good stuff, but I'm getting ready for a hamburger! Or at least a turkey burger!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

My wife taught me about chocolate prices. She's so tight, she squeaks when she walks LOL.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday!! I hope your day has started off well. We had a little fog again this morning (not as foggy as yesterday) but we had a beautiful sunrise! My friend sent this picture from her patio...

I'm off to catch up on posts! Have a great day gang!

Actually i'm kind of like your wife. People tease me about being cheap. Do you guys ever check the local stores there after Halloween? Here they mark down the candy, 50%, then 75%, then if you really wait they may go to 90% off. I usually buy a bunch then!

Good Morning! It was a chilly 41 degrees at the house this morning; love it.... I would be at home if I lived in a more northern latitude or higher elevation like Utah...The wife; that's another story, she would prefer to be on a beach somewhere, where it never goes below 70 degrees~ I always remind her, that there are plenty of hugs right here, if she needs to get warm ;)!

Tuesday, just another small hump to get to the top of the hill tomorrow for the work week climb, after that, it's downhill all the way to Friday.

Me, been working every evening at home to get my grandfather snug as a bug in a rug! I got him all the comforts of home x3! Been hanging pictures, installing safety (elderly ADA) things, got him a brand new refrigerator yesterday, washed all his clothes, coats, bed clothes, and are buying him new clothes that fit him better. He tells me that he knows that my wife and I are turning ourselves inside out for him, but he misses his home. I completely understand and expect that kind of an honest answer from him; I would to, if I lived in a location for 97 years and then I move away from it.... We did bring all of his furniture here and picked and choosed what will work and got rid of what will not work. Right at this moment, I have 2 of his old upright refrigerators and one upright freezer on my pick-up truck to take to the scrap yard when I get home this afternoon. I've made great progress and am very pleased with my wife and I how much we have got done in the past few weeks!

I am all for the cooler weather too! Our visit up to Maryland last December was so nice! When we were there in October 2011 it was nice to be able to wear a jacket but then as we headed back to Texas we were shedding the layers off and in short sleeved shirts. Not a fan of almost 90 degree weather in October! Gimme the Maryland weather!

Sounds like you have all been busy working hard for your grandfather! Very nice!!!

I am doing pretty well, thanks.
It's still very busy at work, but I get a little reprieve here & there.
How about you? How is work?

Hectic in intervals. These days I can't seem to catch my breath between home, work the kids etc. I'm in good spirits though so not complaining. I have a whole weekend off coming up at the end of the month and I can't wait!

Merry Morning, MMC!

I think I just have a slight cold...taking it easy again today to make sure that I keep it from progressing! Thank you for all the get well wishes! Starting my morning with some cold care tea and Christmas music!! Today's a special day-and even QVC is celebrating--check out the holiday programming they have on today!

Hope everyone has a great day today--tomorrow is Pines Day, and the weekend is already in sight! (I'm with snowflake, working for the weekend this week!) The fall weather is wonderful, and my husband and I will be taking the AC units out of our windows in a few days after they dry out from the rain all last week! It's really feeling like fall!!!!!

I am sorry you are still under the weather and hoping that it doesn't get worse. Lots of rest and fluids for you. Enjoy QVC! Take it easy.
