This makes me![]()
WOW! Holy Hannah!!! YUM! That would be A LOT of work, but it all sounds delicious!! I hope you get some help making all that!! xx I want to come to your house!!
I hear you on that! We have so many Christmas CDs, downloads, LPs, and cassettes that I haven't heard them all yet! I have my iTunes Christmas library ready to sync, but I think it's going to be too big to fit on my phone. (Hm, which apps can I lose during the holidays?)I have SO many Christmas cd's there's no way I'll get to listen to all of them during the holiday season!
Hey Holiday,Good morning snowflake!! I hope Har is doing better this morning?
Me, too! Not again! It's that "frigid" word that bothers me...
That sounds like so much fun!I haven't thought of lumping all the holidays together! You could listen to Christmas music over the house speakers while watching Halloween movies and eating a turkey sandwich!
Would you prefer "bitterly cold"?It's that "frigid" word that bothers me...
Good Morning, Allies of Christmas and all aspects of its Glorious Season!
To the count, as it slowly melts away day by day.
Days to Halloween: 3 (Now UNDER HALF A WEEK remains!)
Days to the Season: 16 (TWO weeks from the day after tomorrow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 58 (EIGHT weeks from the day after tomorrow!)
The Holiday Season looms just ahead, Guys!
Chilly and rainy all day yesterday with the sun absent without leave.
Today is supposed to be warm, but we are not yet out from under the rain.
This morning has commenced at a surprisingly warm 70 degrees here in the capital city with a light drizzle.
OK, now!
What is today? Well, it's the last Wednesday before Halloween.
And who would that be of significance to?
Why, our friendly activities director at the Shispering Pines, of course.
I suggest you not miss this evening's open house. There will be the usual black and orange frosted fired twinkies. Lots of punch (red colored, naturally) bobbing for apples -- or -- whatever else Carl might put in the water. Halloween-themed movies will be airing in the theater.
And (new this year) what Carl describes as a tour of the "haunted wing" of the inn.
I didn't know the 'Pines had a haunted wing. (Didn't even know there was a "wing", to tell you the truth.)
This could be interesting!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody.
And a BOOtiful visit to the 'Pines this evening!
I hope everyone stays safe today!! xx And I hope someone is able to be home for Maggie. Our nieces/nephews came over on Sunday in their costumes & Gracie was not a fan ~ at all! She loves those kids - can't get enough of them. She ran the other direction every time they tried to pet her. Good luck!Good morning!
Happy Pine's Day!
We are expecting windswept rain, heavy at times. It's supposed to start later this afternoon and continue in to the evening. Not looking forward to that. Doesn't matter how old my girls get, I still worry about them driving in those kinds of conditions.
Anyway, not too much going on here today. Typical day of errands and chores. I have a couple of phone calls to make as well. My husband just told me someone he does business with invited us to a Halloween party Saturday night. I hate to not be here to hand candy out. Plus I feel bad for Maggie, she'll go crazy when the doorbell keeps ringing. I'll see if one of my daughters plan on being here, maybe we can just go for a couple of hours.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!![]()
Wish I could listen to Christmas music at work...bosses would not be happy. Ha ha!That's funny!
And what a great night last night and day you have planned today. Enjoy!
Thanks HMG! I love the Food Network too- especially holiday editions. As a matter of fact, maybe I'll turn that on now.Good morning Holiday!
Happy Pine's Day!
I can't wait until the Hallmark movies start. I keep the Food Network on in my kitchen all day long, I'm really looking forward to changing over to Christmas movies!
Cute picture
Enjoy your Christmas music, have a wonderful day!!!
Oh my - that sounds awesome! ZzzzzLove that photo. Same weather here today holiday...looks like night time out. Maybe we can convince our jobs that it's time to go to sleep?
Thanks snowflake! You have a Merry day too!Cute cartoon!
Good morning, holiday! Happy Pines day! Glad you had a great night, listening to all of that Christmas Music ;-)
Have a Merry day!
I agree Coen! Love cozy music on snowy or dreary days!!Haha. That picture is great
There is nothing like listening to Christmas music when the weather outside is frightful, even if it is not snowing or winter yet.
Over here it is foggy and slowly getting colder. It is not freezing anytime soon, but the temperatures are unmistakably lower than they were before. I hope we will see some snow this year, but for now I would be happy if the temperature would drop below zero.
Have a great Wednesday, everyone. The week is half over already!

I am already tired of this rain! Hope it stays above freezing for you guys, too.
Stay safe!
Fingers crossed that one of your daughters is able to stay home with Maggie and to be there for the trick-or-treaters . A Halloween party sounds fun!
Have a wonderful day!

The play sounds great...and fun!! Good luck to Jacob & Elizabeth!! Have a great day!!!Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
The play was a hit last night! The catered dinner was great, too, but the kids did an awesome job! Jacob (cousin Zeke) was playing an old banjo of mine throughout the production, Shakespeare and the Hillbillies. Elizabeth was Aunt Marmalade, and spoke with a great Smoky Mountain accent. I'm sure Mgramsey knows what I'm talking about.
They have another rehearsal this afternoon, then the competition is tomorrow. I believe they'll place!
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
Thank you, Holiday! Thanks snowflake! You have a Merry day too!
That would be cute!Thanks Snowflake!
It would be fun to go to the party. I'd have to come up with a costume though. I have a ladybug costume that I wore to the preschool last year, guess I could always wear that again![]()
I know how you feel now. Jacob is finally driving by himself and the rain starts. He's pretty careful, though, so I'm sure he'll be good. Still,...

You're welcome.So adorable!! Thanks for sharing!! <3
Jaclson is super cute, too!![]()
I can believe that. That is a lot of food to prepare!! I have no doubt that you do an excellent job though!Me too
I think it's one of the hardest meals to get on the table. Not only is it a lot of work but by the time I get the last thing heated up, the first thing I heated is cold. I'm going to use a few slow cookers this year to help keep things warm.
You're welcome to come, the more the merrier!!!
