Hmm yeah that would kind of ruin it for me as a kid. Part of the "fun" was being a kid when you weren't out much in the dark and going around trick or treating at night. It set the mood. Wouldn't have felt the same doing it during the daylight but I understand them wanting to keep kids safe.
Exactly!

How wonderful! Sounds like a neat tradition, Holiday. Enjoy that special time with your family!
Thanks snowflake! It's about the only way to feed 600-750 people w/o costing an arm & a leg! LOL

Hope we get hammered with cold and snow.
For your sake, I hope you do too!! I'll take some snow, but try to keep the cold, deal?? ;)

I can imagine...that's a lot of people!
It is! I have to admit I like smaller weddings better ~ my nephew just married an "out of town girl" so we traveled for the wedding. There were *only* 300 invited & it was so nice!!! Much cozier, believe it or not!

You can both have ours! It's coming tonight....
I love snow, but not this early-poor trick-r-treaters!
You're supposed to get SNOW tonight??? :snowball

Good Morning All! It is a rainy Wednesday here in Glen Burnie. It's dark and windy, just right for Halloween! It's a good day to be at work, too; it's nice and warm here, and it's pleasant to look out at the bad weather while typing and drinking tea. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, too; Hubby and I are making our annual trip to the local Gravity Hill, where you can turn your car motor off and the car will still go up the hill. It's a dark and spooky bit of road, very appropriate for a Halloween trip. Ah well, better get back to work for now. Have a great day!

Good afternoon MerryBells, Happy Wednesday!
Gravity Hill sounds very cool, have fun!!!
