Happy Thursday. I read where everyone seems to be excited about Halloween. It is not a big deal here. As many of you know, we live in the country on the side of a mountain. There are very few homes where we live and no street lights. We've never had a trick-or-treater.
Of course we do decorate inside for Christmas but very little outside. There are no cars passing by our home so only us and family/friends we may have over ever see them.
My career forced us to live near large cities in the past but we grew to hate the crowds and traffic so 16 years ago we decided to make a lifestyle change and move back home. It has been great. Just wish we could have more cold and snow.

Wow! So bright! :cool: (And a good way to use up leftover yarn!)
I actually started a small one last week, then realized too late that most of my scraps were white, off-white, and aran ... not a good combo.

Have you seen Jim Henson's "The Christmas Toy"?
I can't watch it very often. I get teary-eyed when Rugby the tiger sings a song about friendship to Mew, the cat toy, when he believes Mew is "frozen."
I just don't think the Muppets have been the same since Jim Henson left us.

Uh ya - you may need to look into some of those bright colors. LOL
