Absolutely!!! It always goes so fast & when it's over I think "Did I enjoy it enough?" Usually not!! That's why we start early!! :)

Ok, heres the dilemma; I coach my sons football (soccer) team and tomorrow is our annual Halloween party. Every year we have a best pumpkin competition, and this year I'm torm between carving the team crest into the pumpkin or something more traditional...

That is such a wonderful winter time hobby! I am sure there are a lot of beginners feeling the same way so don't be nervous. Have fun !!
 
Happy Thursday. I read where everyone seems to be excited about Halloween. It is not a big deal here. As many of you know, we live in the country on the side of a mountain. There are very few homes where we live and no street lights. We've never had a trick-or-treater.
Of course we do decorate inside for Christmas but very little outside. There are no cars passing by our home so only us and family/friends we may have over ever see them.
My career forced us to live near large cities in the past but we grew to hate the crowds and traffic so 16 years ago we decided to make a lifestyle change and move back home. It has been great. Just wish we could have more cold and snow.

Where you live sounds peaceful and idyllic. I often fantasise about moving to the country side later in life and appreciate life at a simpler and slower pace. Snow on the mountains around christmas time must be like something straight off a post card.
 
Good Morning MMC....Happy Friday Eve! We are having a warm spell too. High of low 70's...crazy! The rain and wind was terrible last night. We lost power for about an hour but it then came back on. Have a great day!!

I would not be a good city living person!! Interstate & city driving makes me crazy!! I don't mind interstate driving but the I-75 section we travel the most is just nuts!! Anyway....I hope to stay living in my hometown with not even one stop light. Ha ha!! Nice that you were able to move back home!
