Well, my birthday boy just got up. Yup, 23 today! Sheezzz, I'm getting old!!! We will be taking him to the Melting Pot tonight for his birthday dinner tonight. My gosh, can't believe how time has flown by, he's taller than I am now.....

23? Old? Kidding.... I remember turning 25 like yesterday...and now I'm 37 so enjoy being 23...cause the time starts to go crazy fast as you get a little older. Now I'm working on slowing it down.

Christmas24 is now on! When I tune in for the fist time each year, it feels so magical seeing that little Christmas24 logo on the TV screen. It's the start of the season for me. The GO light!

Happy November everyone, I feel like the season has officially begun now. Got 8 family members coming out to the southern tier of NY for Thanksgiving, well 9 if you include my brother's dog. Will be nice to have family around the table again.
You know how sometimes that special someone in your life will do little things to show they love you? Sometimes it will be a card or a note or just the fact that they will make your coffee before you get up in the morning, my hubby doesn't do cards or notes, he does do coffee, but the thing he does is even better, he sent me links to ABC's holiday tv schedule and for ABC Family as well because he knows how much I love Christmas!

That is wonderful, I'm sure it made your day! Bless him.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's currently 51 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature of 64 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Hey 60s in November I will TAKE! And it looks like I may be taking that ALL of next week. No need to rush in to the cold weather. Let it take it's time.
It's November 1 guys (I know...DUH ). But seriously it's serious now. Halloween was absolutely awesome and as I posted last night I think it's really about the entire season not just Halloween Oct 31. I'll post some thoughts I have on Halloween in the Halloween forum as I like to really think about what I just experienced when it's over after a big holiday. I'll just tell you that I hope each and every one of you has had an absolutely awesome October/Halloween MONTH. And now? November...The Season about to begin...Christmas 24/7 on t.v...Thanksgiving coming...it's unbelievable. I just want to try to take it all in with you guys. Thanks for being here.

Good Morning MMC, and Merry November!

Hard to believe we're here. My husband turned on the Christmas lights around our windows inside in our living room before I got home last night, and it was magical walking in. It's a beautiful time of year to celebrate all of the holidays upcoming and past!

Today I'm planning to take it easy. I have to work at 4 for an hour this afternoon, so I'm taking it easy this morning and just spending time around the home. I'm hoping to finish my second scarf of the season for my husband and hit up the craft store for some more yarn to knit others! I love this time of year...perfect for scarf knitting. It's going to be a bit warmer than normal this week, but that's okay. It'll be chilly off and on, and yesterday was a reminder we don't want it too chilly too quickly--my husband runs his marathon and I run my 8K in less than 2 weeks now. After that, bring it on!

Well, I got up as usual and just noticed that I forgot to set the clocks back one hour last night. Darn, missed out on an extra hour of sleep. Oh well, I'll just drink coffee for another hour instead.

Halloween is behind us, November is here and Thanksgiving looms ahead.
As such, we hereby add it to the count:
Days to the Season: 12 (Getting awfuly close to SINGLE DIGITS!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 25 (Just over 3 1/2 weeks off!)
Days to Christmas Day: 56

(The holidays are upon us, my Friends.)


Coolish yesterday. But with lots of sun, no rain and no wind, it didn't feel bad at all.
This morning has begun at 59 degrees and we just had a light sprinkle pass by.
Lots of rain is predicted by tomorrow.
