Well Halloween was awesome...but I think the thing about Halloween is that like Christmas it's not about 1 day...it's about the entire time of year surrounding it. I really loved watching Halloween shows all of October. I think that next year I need to start earlier though. There's too many shows I've found over the years and I have to watch more. I know everyone is ready to switch over to Christmas shows...but I will still try watching more Halloween stuff the next few weeks while starting up Christmas too.

I agree, We enjoy Halloween as a season and mixed in with autumn/fall, it's perfect.
Carry on watching your halloween shows till you feel ready to move on! It's still autumn! The best thing is you can celebrate as long as you like and however you want!

It has truly been a special weekend.
Christmas24 is now on! When I tune in for the fist time each year, it feels so magical seeing that little Christmas24 logo on the TV screen. It's the start of the season for me. The GO light!

Happy November everyone, I feel like the season has officially begun now. Got 8 family members coming out to the southern tier of NY for Thanksgiving, well 9 if you include my brother's dog. Will be nice to have family around the table again.
You know how sometimes that special someone in your life will do little things to show they love you? Sometimes it will be a card or a note or just the fact that they will make your coffee before you get up in the morning, my hubby doesn't do cards or notes, he does do coffee, but the thing he does is even better, he sent me links to ABC's holiday tv schedule and for ABC Family as well because he knows how much I love Christmas!

You're right Festive. It is bitter sweet. I do miss October already...but like I told you I will continue with some Halloween shows into November while I am now basically like most of you ready for Christmas time 24/7 for the next 2 months

I agree. I felt a twinge of sadness watching the Great Pumpkin last night, but I'm also incredibly excited for November and December, so that has helped! Thanksgiving is on its way!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's currently 51 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature of 64 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Hey 60s in November I will TAKE! And it looks like I may be taking that ALL of next week. No need to rush in to the cold weather. Let it take it's time.
It's November 1 guys (I know...DUH). But seriously it's serious now. Halloween was absolutely awesome and as I posted last night I think it's really about the entire season not just Halloween Oct 31. I'll post some thoughts I have on Halloween in the Halloween forum as I like to really think about what I just experienced when it's over after a big holiday. I'll just tell you that I hope each and every one of you has had an absolutely awesome October/Halloween MONTH. And now? November...The Season about to begin...Christmas 24/7 on t.v...Thanksgiving coming...it's unbelievable. I just want to try to take it all in with you guys. Thanks for being here.

Hard to believe we're here. My husband turned on the Christmas lights around our windows inside in our living room before I got home last night, and it was magical walking in. It's a beautiful time of year to celebrate all of the holidays upcoming and past!
Today I'm planning to take it easy. I have to work at 4 for an hour this afternoon, so I'm taking it easy this morning and just spending time around the home. I'm hoping to finish my second scarf of the season for my husband and hit up the craft store for some more yarn to knit others! I love this time of year...perfect for scarf knitting. It's going to be a bit warmer than normal this week, but that's okay. It'll be chilly off and on, and yesterday was a reminder we don't want it too chilly too quickly--my husband runs his marathon and I run my 8K in less than 2 weeks now. After that, bring it on!
