I was able to score myself a Rudolph t-shirt this year for my Christmas shirt collection.

I love it.
How awesome! Great addition, friend!

I want to go there so bad, we just got a chance to go to NYC on a bus trip this Sunday for $35. Only problem is we would have to bring the kids since we don't have someone to watch them for for nearly 16 hours, I just don't know how they would do walking all day, and we have never been there so we would be nervous trying to keep an eye on them constantly. We are still trying to decide what to do...
Hope they you guys can figure out a good solution & see it!! How amazing!!

Good evening,

Another long day of work, but we were able to enjoy a pizza for dinner while we popped Rudolph in the DVD player.
Starting to get things planned for the menu for Christmas eve, it is coming too fast now.

I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone.
I know! Please slow down!
Sounds like a great way to spend your night =]
Have a great Friday!

Good Morning, MMC!!
Merry Friday!
I plan to spend the day getting the house ready for the round robin tomorrow night. And in between, watching Christmas movies!
Hope you all have a blessed & Christmassy day~

My fiancé found this on FB and tagged me in it. This is my favorite image and expresses my thoughts about the season.

"My dear precious Jesus, I did not mean to take your place,
I only bring toys and things and you bring love and grace.
People give me lists of wishes and hope that they came true;
But you hear prayers of the heart and promise your will to do.
Children try to be good and not to cry when I am coming to town;
But you love them unconditionally and that love will abound.
I leave only a bag of toys and temporary joy for a season;
But you leave a heart of love, full of purpose and reasons.
I have a lot of believers and what one might call fame;
But I never healed the blind or tried to help the lame.
I have rosy cheeks and a voice full of laughter;
But no nail—scarred hands or a promise of the hereafter.
You may find several of me in town or at a mall;
But there is only one omnipotent you, to answer a sinner’s call.
And so, my dear precious Jesus, I kneel here to pray;
To worship and adore you on this, your holy birthday."
thank you, have seen the picture but this is the first time I have read this...made me tear up.

Just a quick post to let you all know that we got some good news on Gracie tonight – all of her test looked OK and we are allowed to cut her most expensive medicine in half… she is hoping to eventually take her completely off of that! She was slightly anemic but it was so little they were not worried about it – they will just monitor it (and I have to wonder if that's not because of the food they have a her on?) And here is her photo after her grooming today:

❤️❤️
That is great news :D And what an adorable little girl :)

Pizza and Rudolph? Not much of a better combo in the world to me. What's your Christmas Eve meal normally look like? I am also planning mine. We pretty much have a list we use so we get the same stuff every year but we alter a few things here and there. Best meal of the year is Christmas Eve dinner for me.

sounds like a fun, long and tiring day. plan for breaks where there is a place the kids can run free or just lie down and rest for awhile. There must be guided tours available within the city too you could go on.
By the way, I am envious, would love to go there some day too !
Enjoy your day , take lots of pictures, make many memories, relax and have fun !

Greetings fellow Christmas enthusiasts!

On Tuesday night, my last night following the conference, I had the good fortune to stumble upon the Christmas Market in the distillery district of Toronto, Ontario.

I doubt the photos I took on my cell phone turned out so I'll have to share an adorable experience with y'all through my written visuals.

Three of my colleagues and I were looking for a spot to grab something to eat, the rain was putting a damper on our festive mood so standing and eating at vendor booths wasn't going to work for us.

One of the ladies asked an Elf who was guiding young and old visitors to Santa's lap. She was adorable!

She replied in the most delightful elfish manner, "I couldn't possibly give you directions since I'm from the North Pole and have no knowledge of the surroundings. Perhaps you could keep your eyes open for a human person wearing a vest and a Christmas Market badge for access to a map." We thanked her and went on our way.

We admired the decorations while the smell of mulled wine and cinnamon spices filled the air and the sounds of the strolling carollers (Dicken's style) sang beautifully in our ears.

There were snowman statues here and there and we stopped to snap a photo and there was the Elf again posing with the snowman. She passed again a short time later speaking elf-tongue as she passed only speaking to herself. One of my colleagues suspected she had gotten into that mulled wine. I was on top of the world with gratitude for how awesome she was and how "in character" she became. I said, "She's not playing an Elf, she is an Elf. The best Santas do the same thing and I know many of them."

P.S. We met up with 2 more of our conference buddies and wound up having dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory that was a 20 minute walk for most, but we hit it in 12. Guess we were hungry.

Here's a link if you want to see what fun awaited us there. http://www.torontochristmasmarket.com/
We didn't have to pay to look around.

Sweet dreams Christmas chums; keep a merry thought in your head! :blinky:
It sounds like you had a wonderful time. I am almost sad I live on the other side of the ocean.

I won 1st place in the adult division !!
