It was a wonderful time, although shortened by the rain and chill in the air. We had talked about it since we arrived and weren't going to let the rain stop us from at least visiting there. I wanted to jump onto the MMC forums while I was at the airport, but the two computers I tried to use were "wonky" and I couldn't type in the "i" in my username so that was the end of that attempt.
Kept y'all with me on the plane especially when we flew above the clouds and they looked like a snowy tundra and I was waiting for polar bears and Louanne to appear. Something rather heavenly about being up there among the clouds and blue sky when it was duller down below us.
My ears were bothered just as before from the decent, but the pain didn't last as long. Today, I'm still struggling with dizziness a bit like vertigo I suppose. I imagine I'll get used to it eventually. Getting there in 50 minutes vs 4.5 hrs and the stress of driving in the "big city" where you crawl along through street lights 3 cars at a time.
I left without buying any Christmas gifts, I realized I didn't have enough room in my luggage.
When I was going through security and I had to stand in the "chamber" and raise my arms and remain perfectly still (as instructed), I smiled and said, "Beam me up!" The guard laughed and said, "Seriously, stand still."
Well, I'll bet I made their day unless everyone says it.
