Just a quick post to let you all know that we got some good news on Gracie tonight – all of her test looked OK and we are allowed to cut her most expensive medicine in half… she is hoping to eventually take her completely off of that! She was slightly anemic but it was so little they were not worried about it – they will just monitor it (and I have to wonder if that's not because of the food they have a her on?) And here is her photo after her grooming today:

My fiancé found this on FB and tagged me in it. This is my favorite image and expresses my thoughts about the season.
"My dear precious Jesus, I did not mean to take your place,
I only bring toys and things and you bring love and grace.
People give me lists of wishes and hope that they came true;

Children try to be good and not to cry when I am coming to town;
But you love them unconditionally and that love will abound.
I leave only a bag of toys and temporary joy for a season;
But you leave a heart of love, full of purpose and reasons.
I have a lot of believers and what one might call fame;
But I never healed the blind or tried to help the lame.
I have rosy cheeks and a voice full of laughter;
But no nail—scarred hands or a promise of the hereafter.
You may find several of me in town or at a mall;
But there is only one omnipotent you, to answer a sinner’s call.
And so, my dear precious Jesus, I kneel here to pray;
To worship and adore you on this, your holy birthday."

I want to go there so bad, we just got a chance to go to NYC on a bus trip this Sunday for $35. Only problem is we would have to bring the kids since we don't have someone to watch them for for nearly 16 hours, I just don't know how they would do walking all day, and we have never been there so we would be nervous trying to keep an eye on them constantly. We are still trying to decide what to do...*Christmas tree lighting in Rockefeller Center tonight, on NBC!!*

Another long day of work, but we were able to enjoy a pizza for dinner while we popped Rudolph in the DVD player.
Starting to get things planned for the menu for Christmas eve, it is coming too fast now.
