I'll second this request!Can I order 1 extra weekend before Christmas???
Adrian & I were just saying the same thing. We plan to start watching our Christmas movie traditional favorites this weekend. We have certain ones we always watch together, the others I just make it a point to watch on my own. He always teases me that I've seen the Hallmark movies more times than he can count

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday! As I mentioned we had a nice visit with our friends last night. We didn't get home til almost 11 so I didn't get much done at home last night. I did make a couple batches of round pretzels with a kiss melted in the middle (I used hugs & kiss w/ caramel) & an M&M on top before we left. Our neighborhood house hopping is now 1 week away & I have hardly thought about it this week. At least the house is decorated now!
Tomorrow is cookie day with my friend & her kids. They will be coming around noon & usually stay until....wee hours of the morning! The kids go home around supper time, her hubby comes over & we normally go out to eat & then out & about or back to our house. We'll see what we're in the mood for tomorrow! Excited!!! Another one of my favorite days of the year!
We may have to turn the AC on - 65º outside, oven on for hours & 4-5 of us in the kitchen! Crazy weather! LOL!

Thanks snowflake! Her "kiddo's" have now pretty much taken over the icing of the cookies! We started this when they were babies - the oldest is a sophomore in college! Crazy! And he is SO BUMMED he can't come home tomorrow. He loves cookie day! Ha ha! Hopefully next year he'll be back! She has 2 daughters - a Sr. in HS & an 8th grader. The youngest is coming, not sure about her oldest daughter - I'm sure she'll make an appearance at some point! Jim is getting out of dodge, but he'll be back later in the day for some cookies!Have fun baking tomorrow with your friend and her kiddos! Sounds like a festive day ahead!!

Looks like it's almost quitting time here. Ah - love it! This afternoon I'm heading to Moms to finish her outside decorations & put up her inside decorations. (Her tree is already up) Then I'll have to work on getting the kitchen cleaned up before cookie day tomorrow - & make the cookie dough to refrigerate overnight! No major plans for tonight ~ I'm ok with that! I haven't opened a bottle of Wintery Nights wine yet ~ tonight might be the night! (though it feels far from a wintery night...ha ha!)
