Our forecast says 50º on Christmas Eve!! 60º today! What the heck!

That's what I"m hearing about 50ish for Christmas Eve/Day...not quite Christmas feel but not as bad as last year when it was 60. Maybe next year it'll snow in time for Christmas?

Yep, it's been happening intermittently since Tuesday. So strange.
And sometimes, when you like something, it will ask if you're sure you want to like it.

Well my Christmas party was pretty awesome. Each of the 4 years I've been there we have it at the same restaurant and I really enjoy it. Great food and seeing people in the company you talk to all the time but at least half of them you never see in person. Oh yeah and there is this girl who got hired a few months ago who I've been talking to who I said I wanted to meet to a couple coworkers. Little do I know that I get there and about 7 other people from my building are telling me to go talk to her. Uh who the heck told them? lol...geez I felt more pressured than I did in high school. Ironically she wound up coming to talk to me probably because I'm one of the few people in the company she knows (I deal with the employees since I do payroll having to call them for their hours etc.)...ate too much food but oh well it's the Christmas party.

Not too much going on here this morning, I'm just working on a menu plan & grocery list and having my coffee. I'm going to get dinner started in the crock pot soon, I'm making Beef Vegetable Soup. My daughter has a dentist appointment this morning and then I have a few errands to run afterward. And my mother is coming over to visit this afternoon. That's about it for me. Good Friday Morning MMC! As I mentioned I had the Christmas party last night and it was fun. Everyone always seems to enjoy it. Now back to work on a Friday and I just can not believe 2 weeks from today is Christmas. It's so intensely exciting yet I'm really feeling like I have so much to do still. It's like you want to enjoy the ride but there's a lot of preparations that you have to make to get there. Ahh well when we sit down on Christmas Eve evening around 6:30PM it will be the best time and relaxing.
I hope you all have a great Friday and let's get to this last weekend before the last weekend before Christmas!

Sorry to hear about your friend's FIL, they are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everybody! It was a nice visit despite the circumstances. His Dad has been really sick for quite awhile, so though it's still hard, it was a blessing. He's no longer suffering, trying to breathe. The pizza's & dessert were delicious too.
