Wow, I can't believe Christmas is next week already! I'm here at the office, typing the everlasting charts and listening to Tewkesbury Abby's "Three Kings" album. Beautiful Christmas music! Maybe I'll have some Bing Crosby next. It wouldn't do to forget the classics.

Good morning friends. Thank you for all the well wishes for my daughter. She's feeling better, thankfully!
But, the strep throat has struck again...getting me, this time. So, I'm down for the day. At least it happened before Christmas, but I'm praying no one else gets it.
I hope you all have a great day and hope to see you at the Pines. I can't imagine what Carl has planned next week!

So sorry to hear Ryan! Hope you feel better...having strep as an adult is terrible...can really make you feel lousy. I had it about 3 years ago..woke up Christmas morning with it!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!! Feeling excited & pressured for time now! It was almost 9 until I got home from getting my hair cut/colored last night so I didn't get much done. Now I have TWO lunch hours & TWO nights before the house hopping. Today Gracie goes to the groomer on my lunch, then I'll have to pick her up after work. Need to shop for food & drinks. Clean. Make food. Ahhhhh! Good thing I'm off Friday afternoon!

Good morning everyone, Merry Pines Day!
I'm heading out soon, Maggie has a groomer appointment. I have a few errands to run while she's there. I have to stop at JoAnns to buy fabric to cover the Christmas Village table. I already had it covered with a nice white tablecloth but the cats decided to attack it, there are runs all over it now and I can't leave it like that. I'm going to look for a fabric that is more plush, something that won't shred from their claws! Grrrr. I also have to pick up a new candle for our window. I had the windows open yesterday because it was so warm and one fell to the floor from the wind and broke. I'm going to stop at the pet store too, I never made it there yesterday. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I also have to make a pot of sauce, we're having spaghetti & meatballs for dinner. That's about it for me.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Well on Tuesday evening I was able to get a bunch of gifts wrapped while watching Christmas shows. It felt good. I plan to do the same this evening. Can not believe a week from today will be waiting for Christmas Eve/Day to arrive in 24/48 hours respectively. The weather reporters are predicting about 60 degrees on Christmas like last year. It's unreal that we could have 2 years in a row like that. Because the previous 20+ I don't remember ever us coming close to that. I'm calling it right now...Christmas Eve/Day 2016 we're going to be cold and have a chance for at least some snow (wishful thinking right?).
I hope you guys have a great mid-week. Next week mid-week will mean panic time for Christmas will be here!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a great office party last night! I ate all the oysters I could hold, and loved every minute of it LOL! There was about a half-bushel left when everyone finished, so a co-worker and I shucked them for oyster stew later. Of course, I had to eat the really slimy ones as I shucked them!

Edge & Holiday mentioned their Christmas forecasts; ours is a high of 80. Oh well. Christmas is Christmas, no matter the weather.

As Little Bear's mother used to say, "We'll weather the weather, whatever the weather, whether we like it or not."

Nancy is still sick, so I'm trying to get her to go to the doctor to get the shots they call "Thunder & Lightning". Those shots fixed me right up last year!
