My Christmas vacation started at 5 p.m. You can bet I'm feeling very Jolly right now! Hope you enjoy your time off.

So glad tomorrow is Friday! I had a LOVELY day off...but I'm feeling a little under the weather now. :\ Drinking cold care tea and hoping it's nothing!!

Hope you all had wonderful days today. One week! One week from now I'll be leaving one church service with my family and getting ready for Christmas dinner. :) WOW. Let's make the best of it, folks!!
Feel better!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 35 **

Good Morning, Folks........and WOW!
Christmas is coming.
ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW, in fact!!

Days to Christmas Day: 8
(Don't believe us? Just check out the chart.
Or better yet, the calendar!)

Chilly -- no -- COLD weather is just around the corner.
But for now, sunny days and moderate temps (except for today, when it's supposed to rain).
We are at 53 degrees here currently under skies that look like they just might be considering releasing some of the wet stuff any minute.

But be you wet or dry, warm or cold, calm or wind-blown, you have a Thrilling Thursday and an Exciting Expectation of Weekend Eve tomorrow - the LAST Weekend Eve before Christmas!

Speaking of calendars; I have one in the kitchen to inform my husband about my weekly plans and when I got home and updated plans for tomorrow and next week, it really hit me like a merry snowball; CHRISTMAS EVE is next Thursday!!! My brother flies in on Wednesday and I'm going to pick him up at the airport and run him around so he can finish his shopping.

I would like to:
- congratulate those who have; passed an exam, had family expand, got all things done before the big day next week
- wish you all better when you are ill ore have a sick loved one at home
- send all in need some huggs (big and small) and prayers (in abundance if needed)
- send my love to those who are not here because of surcomstances
- Thank those who have send all things great and small, fysical and in thought in the past few weeks (to myself and those in need)

It's great to be back and spend this last week in count down towards a great day every year in life.::wave

My sweet JollyHeather you covered everything in one post without quoting anyone; that is a very remarkable and merry memory you have. I may go silent for a few days, but I try and connect here or there so people don't worry and to stay connected to this wonderful Christmas family.

Hey, Christmas Family - keep a merry thought in your head.

Evening all. Shopping finished tonight in a marathon session. Even popped in for a black forest hot chocolate to celebrate.

Good for you. I wrapped the gifts in a marathon session; for time and space, I wound up going mainly with gift bags and festive tissue. Cat is never any help, but he didn't get in the way as much as usual.

Enjoy your Christmas vacation!!

:gifty

Thanks, so far so good - hahahoho! My husband and I enjoyed some yummy beef stew (we don't eat red meat very often, but my body needed it). Finished off all the cards with special photos for the grandchildren to go along with their gifts. Last year, my second oldest grandson enjoyed the photo of his dog as much as his present, he went off searching for a frame. The year before I gave him a mug with a different picture of Bubba on it along with a gift card for Canadian Tire so he could grab a few tools for his construction and tinkering jobs. He gets attached to his pets like we all get hooked on ours. When he was younger, we thought he'd become a VET. I forgot to grab a present for Bubba and Harley (the cat) so I'll have to make a quick stop at PetSmart. Their pets receive gifts from O'Malley.

I love that you & O'Malley do that!
