Good afternoon,

I was watching White Christmas, but the Bengals game is now on, so I made the switch to the game.
I did watch Frosty this morning, I couldn't go back to work without seeing that one before the season is over. I have come to terms there will be many I won't see unfortunately, including Miracle on 34th Street. I still may try to get that one in still. My wife and I cannot wait, Galavant returns tonight for its second season. We both love that show.
The PCB's are biting me today, with work looming tomorrow. My decorations and trees are still up, I will wear my Christmas shirts through January, I just need to remind myself it isn't truly over yet.
I hope you all have a good day.

Our worst weather is Jan/Feb too...According to the newspapers we are going to have a bad winter...Its been the mildest Decembers on record...I say Global Warming:D
Where you from? We had the mildest Nov/Dec ever here. Last 2 winters Jan & Feb was brutal so I'm hearing this year will be more "sane and normal" than the last 2. But who knows? I wouldn't mind if Nov/Dec 2016 wind up normal or even a little colder than normal. It didn't feel like the holidays this past year with it being short sleeve weather.

I live in the UK Edge...we have not had a bad winter in over 6/7yrs...Been loads of flooding down south and to me thats a sign of global warming...

I am wearing mine, too.
Have a wonderful, Christmassy day!

Hey everybody!!! So, it's Sunday, my son has headed off back home (3 hour drive) and please find attached a pic of my road into work; it has until Tuesday to sort itself out (that's when I need it!) I would be best suited to this weather if I were a duck!!!!!!!! According to the forecasts, it's due to keep going until at least Wednesday - maybe I'll buy a canoe!!!! Will keep the decorations up until tomorrow but will put everything away before heading back to work on Tuesday. It was fun while it lasted :) I'm now going to focus on small goals every month. For example, I have a 2 day first aid refresher course this week, then I'm stage managing for a drama festival in February and we'll see about March but it's good to have something to look forward to and to count with - you know what I mean??!! Catch you all later - have a lovely Sunday!!
enjoy the rest of your time off, hope the road dries or you find a good boat by Tuesday.
Never gets easier to see your kids leave even when we know they must. ((((HUGS)))))

We finally have the word SNOW in a forecast! We are expecting a dusting tonight and into tomorrow morning. This winter has been snowless and warm.:(
I LOVE snow so the lack thereof has been a major disappointment. That is the problem with living in southwestern Ohio. While we will have decent snow years, like the last 2, many years have little. However, this year has felt more like the year I lived in Georgia.
I need to move to the Northeast! Cooler summers, Snowier winters.
just move up here with me and become Canadian !

Now that the new year has started I'm turning my attention to my garden season my calendar really only has two seasons fall and Christmas season and gardening season . All new plans this year under way can't wait to get started. then once the pumpkins start growing I'm already thinking about fall ..
we are planning a wall garden this year, to many rabbits around to go traditional. Also we lack the room as our back yard is quite small.

I love growing pumpkins for pies and bread. The last two years I have not grown any and instead bought pumpkins from the local farm. We started the process of reorganizing our backyard and moving the garden area. So this year we will be growing pumpkins again!
Do you grow pie pumpkins or larger ones?
I usually grow pie pumpkins because we make a family day out of going to the pumpkin patch and picking out our jack o lanterns

Good Evening! ❤️
Been a cold day here today.
We are now getting ready for the first schoolday tomorrow, this year!
Christmas vacation is officially over!

Good afternoon everyone!
Just thought I'd pop in to say hello, I have a few minutes to myself. I haven't had much alone time lately. It's not a bad thing lol, just haven't been able to post as much as I would like. My two oldest are working and my husband took my youngest car shopping. I'm having a cup of coffee, looking at some items on eBay. I've had my eye on a few items and decided to buy a couple of things, thought I'd share the pictures. My family doesn't appreciate them as much as I do but I know you guys will.
Two sets of vintage salt & pepper shakers. Winking Santas ~

I just love anything vintage. Can't wait to get them!
We're heading back to my parents house today, they wanted to have us for dinner. I'm going to run to the bakery in a few minutes to pick up something for dessert. I'll pop back in tonight!
