Good evening, MMC!

Finally caught up on here ~ chatty bunch! Spent the day working on store stuff and relaxing. Tomorrow starts my new schedule and it includes 3:20 am wake up calls. So far all my trying to get adjusted to the new time has not worked ~ I shut the alarm off and go back to sleep. Going to be a very interesting day tomorrow. Good thing it is a Monday, my favorite day of the week!

3:20? Is that 3 a typo and you mean 5? Or some semi-sane hour? I wake up 5:30 every day for work (only cause I exercise and stuff before it) but that's more than early enough for me.

Not correct. Mr. Is fine with my Christmas activities, no matter what time of year. He's contributed to the Santa Tracking broadcast the past two years, too, and has plans for the 2016 broadcast. Christmas makes me happy, and that makes it okay with him.

Home from work early but not due to good circumstances. You won't believe the day I've had!!!!! I want to say more and would have if it was just you guys but it's a public forum.

My building was evacuated. A threat was made last Sunday apparently just after I finished work. My colleagues told me when I got in this morning so I was uneasy knowing what happened.

Then it happened all over again this evening. HORRIBLE! I am still shaking. This time we have been told even less.

My building is a historical landmark and it's always a worry.
So happy to be here safe with my family.

My Mrs isn't as much of a fanatic, but she does love the season and is extremely supportive of my love for it. She's just not a huge fan of the music outside of the season. She has also contributed to the broadcast and had a blast with it and is looking forward to 2016 and to the Great American Road Trip (it's going to be our honeymoon trip) as she's excited to see the Christmas Story house, as am I!

I recorded a test with my new microphone ... I dunno. It's nice and clear, but sounds less warm and intimate than the setup I was using. Sounds like a recording made during a college lecture, instead of like someone sitting next to you chatting. Maybe I can play with the positioning of it or use an equalizer setting or something, but I'm not real crazy about it. It IS easier to record directly into the computer, though ... it would save some time during the busy season, but ... we'll see.

I should be getting mine on Thursday. I'll play with mine and let you know what I think

Black...a lot of his kind are more white spotted but he's almost all black with very little white on him.

I've been using an analog mic plugged into a digital recorder, and so far the tone is a lot warmer and less hollow-sounding.
