Christmas Countdown - 2016

[Holiday]

I started taking down some of the decorations today. It's never easy.

I decided to leave the tree and lights up one more day because today would have been my father's birthday. He was a big Christmas lover so I will turn the lights on one more night in his memory.

Hope everyone is making it through the day. Be sure to reward yourself at the end of the work day with something nice

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday wishes to you all! As it's been mentioned many times already this morning - it's tough to get back in the swing after 11 days off. Even Gracie did not want to get up this morning! She got use to staying up late & sleeping in too. Working on year end things this morning. It's going pretty fast, but not as fast as the last 11 days!!

I try to bring at least 4 out of 5 days a good lunch to work to give myself something to look forward to. Something I know that I will like eating but not too unhealthy most days.

You guys will like this...the lady at the front desk tells me she planned a 2 week cruise for...the 2 weeks leading into Thanksgiving (aka the start of the Christmas season) and how she's excited. I told her that's so far away and she replied "you know it will be here before you know it."

Wow! Lucky you. Every day absolutely flew by for me!! Of course it was busy - lots of family & friends. But darn, it didn't seem like I had more than a long weekend.

Good plan. I always try to eat light for lunch. I go home everyday though & try to find something! Not sure yet what that will be today!
