Oh wow! Again! ROFL I think that's what I said yesterday too. LOL I really miss it. Badly.
It wasn't fun driving in it this morning, there is a layer of ice under the snow.
But it is GORGEOUS to look at!! =)

cleaning out the laundry room and all the stuff stored there, Took out an old metal shelf that dad once had in his study for books. Dad has been gone now for 19 years now and had that thing for at least 10 + years. This thing was 3 sections long with with 21 shelf's altogether. So at first I was going to get rid of it, but taking a closer look we started taking one section with 7 shelf's not in good shape off of it. So now it is only two sections with 13 shelf's. We tightened everything up on that section and cleaned it and it look really good. So I plan to paint it a shade of blue and put it in the new kitchen for storage, cook books etc.
this is what it looks like now

will post a picture when I get it painted.
Anyone know if using a brush to paint or using spray paint is better for a metal shelf ?
That will be really nice to have in your kitchen, CS. I'm sure it means a lot to you <3

Glad you're enjoying your smoker. I'm sorry about your tree. I'm dreading taking ours down too.
Thanks!
We will get through it together!!! I'm going to miss the lights of the tree so much!! But I will be keeping the other tree up (in the sun room) I may let it the way it is now for another week, but then I'll be changing to clear & blue lights with silver, blue, & white ornaments & snowflakes.

Thank you, graywolf!
She wasn't feeling so hot this morning, hoping that she's feeling much better by this evening <3
(((hugs))) to Har. Hope she's feeling better by the time you get home!!

Morning MMC!

I hope everyone has a great Friday and a terrific weekend if this is a weekend for your work schedule. ;).

We don't really have 'weekends,' around here. Noah's normal days off are Tuesday and Wednesday, but he usually works one of those two anyway. Bud doesn't take days off and since I work from home - I pretty much work every day in one capacity or another, but those are our choices and we like what we do so it's not a big deal. :)

I'm sitting here looking at the Smilies below the reply screen at the one that throws the snowball at the screen and I cannot shake the desire to have a snowball fight or build a snowman. What? Yeah I'm perpetually six years old - I can't help it.

Tree comes down most likely this weekend. I was going to leave it up till next weekend, but it is a live tree and though it was kept well watered, it's looking a bit curled at the ends. Fire hazard is always a concern to me, but I'll leave the other lights and decorations up till next weekend. I leave the nativity and decorations like that up till February 3rd, the day after Candlemas.

I need to get a small string of white lights too. The nativity I took out of the shed the other day - I want to put white lights around it when the others come down to make it a focal point in the room.

OH My album should be here today!! It's pouring rain and is supposed to all day. I need to remember to keep an eye out for the package. So excited!

Last night we were getting into bed, I was checking the alarm on my phone to make sure it was set correctly and noticed the background, which is an interactive Christmas Live wallpaper. It had a countdown calendar on one of the walls in the room and read "352." LOL I gasped and said, "Honey!! We have to get busy!"

He asked, "What?? What are you talking about?"

I said, "There are only 352 days till Christmas!"

He started laughing at me and answered, "Well I don't know what in the world there is to do - all the decorations are still up and there are still cookies in the freezer, but I'll go get you another tree if you want." LOL

Merry Friday All!!!

Just ordered Christmas stockings from Bronners ❤️
Price 36$ for two and that's okey.
But it costed 30$ to send it to me!
Oops! Don't tell Thomas...:)

Now all my five kids have stockings from Bronners.
But maybe I should get one for me too later this year? ❤️
I'll have to wait until the NOK is higher,
and maybe the $$ lower..

That's great!! Personally I would spray paint metal shelves with a paint made for adhesion to metal like Rustoleum brand. If not, and it's a satin or gloss paint, it could peel off easily if you don't do some light sanding to make a better surface for the paint to stick. JMO.

Can't wait to see you're finished pics!
