Save one for me, Made!!!The smell from the chili in the crock pot is making me hungry. I think it's time to break out those chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies I made yesterday.
I must be an oddball, all I wear in the freezer is a zip up hoodie. I am comfortable in the -10*f air.I agree with you, it was much more tolerable when I was younger!
We get below zero temperatures every winter, even though were used to getting them each year, adjusting to them is still a process.
Autumn is my absolute favorite season!
I am getting older and keep adding insulation, how does that happen?Between getting older and losing my insulation, I heartily agree Edge!!

I love it when he picks up the shovel and tries to throw it but drops it while slipping again.OMG! I about died laughing!! I would never be that graceful.

Love that vintage Noel candle holder.
Thank you!I use to love the Scholastic book orders, my kids still get them from time to time from their teachers. I think I like looking at the brochures more than they do.
That is a great snow day memory, thanks for sharing.
They still have the Book Fairs too!!!Thank you!
I was wondering if kids could still order books from them. I used to pay something like 60 cents for a paperback! Once a year there would be a book fair in the library, where you could look at the books before ordering, including hardcover and pop-up books. It was heaven for a little bookworm like me!

Thanks Snowflake!! :-D(((Hugs)))
I love how much Christmas joy you've instilled in your kids. Noah will pass that love onto his family one day!
Computer related issues are so frustrating!!
Hope the equipment swap gets you back up and running, soon.
Great finds on the baking goods!
Hope you have a blessed night!
I probably would too. LOLI must be an oddball, all I wear in the freezer is a zip up hoodie. I am comfortable in the -10*f air.![]()
G'night Xmas. I'm sorry about your trees.Good evening,
We got our little touch of winter, maybe an inch of snow, but it is better than none. It was very pretty while coming down, felt very Christmassy.
Day off tomorrow, I think it is time to start taking down the first 2 trees. The 6.5 foot tree and the 3 foot tree are in my sights, but I really don't want them done for the season. I guess it is time to move on.
I hope you all had a great day, I am yawning up a storm, so I think I hear my pillow calling.
Goodnight, everyone.
I'm sorry Festive.Last night as I was doing my grocery shopping, I was driving back home, listening to our local NPR station and they re-ran an interview they did with Bowie a few years ago. I was listening, but not realizing it was a repeat till they got to the end and the woman said, "That was the from the interview we did with Mr. Bowie four years ago. The rock world mourns his passing..." and I was shocked. I had no idea till that sentence that he had passed away. I'd been working all day writing and had not been online with the exception of Pandora streaming while I did so.
Something he said that just had me in laughing aloud in the car - the interviewer asked him, "So if you could sum up in one word rock and roll and life and your perception of it all - what would it be?"
He hemmed and hawed for a moment and then said, "Eeeeehh..... pudding. It's all pudding really."
Laughing, she asked, "What?!"
He said, "Pudding - you know. Life, all of it - it's like pudding. You can't really describe it, it's not always attractive, but in the end - it's delicious!"
Brilliant.
Oh goodness I hope the album is okay!Last minute emergency dog walk lead me to the front of the house to the door that no one uses. There was my LP album, propped up on the door frame.
I brought it in and written across both sides in bold marker, "FRAGILE."
I put it down on the kitchen counter, Bud took one look at it and without missing a beat said, "Fra-geeeeeelaaay. Huh, it must be Italian!"
