I got a promotion! And a nice raise! The General Manager was very complimentary of my performance, too. It's a morale boost when you try hard and it's recognized! The four of us went out to eat last night to celebrate, and I'm still full. LOL

I have to take Jacob to the doctor today. He has a nasty ear infection that we didn't even know about till last night. He obviously has a higher tolerance for pain than me. Whew!

Hope Jacob feels better...those ear infections can be so painful!

Hope your day is going great too snowflake. Are you still in the negative temps today? We are supposed to get another 1-3 of snow today/this evening. According tot he radar it should be snowing now, but nuttin so far! xx
 
Brad- Congratulations!!!! They knew they had to do something to keep you from running off and becoming the mayor of some major city!!!

I hope Jacob starts feeling better soon!!!

He is improving with the antibiotic and is in good spirits. He is always such a little trooper. Thank you so much for thinking of him.

Your supper sounds good to me. I'm not sure what we'll have. Depends on how my hubby's day is going. Yesterday with the weather, he didn't get home til almost 9pm so he ate on the road. There is enough left over "Sunday Chicken" (chicken & potatoes) for 1 of us, so if he is eating on the road again, I'll have that!

Thanks, Holiday. It's been very busy, but okay =]
Harlowe & I were able to walk, it was 7 degrees. Yay! lol
We have some light flurries going on, but no one seems to be saying if we can expect any accumulation.
Hope you get your 3 inches!!

Awww I hope he can make it home. It must be such a long day on the road especially in those conditions. Hope you both have a restful evening and enjoy dinner whatever you decide on having.

Woo Hoo, out of the negative digits!!! We were at 13º after lunch. Heat wave!!!! ;)That makes walking a little more enjoyable!!

Thank you Festive! Hopefully today was a better day - the roads have improved. He got home last night, crawled under an afghan & I think he was sleeping in less than 5 minutes!
