The only problem is that with my weight loss and better eating, the grease from the cheese curds would really disagree with me. Never had that before, but I love Mancino's. You'll just need to walk Har a little more to digest it better! :p
I love them, but can't eat too many myself.

Mancino's is one of our favorites,
Del Re is the another! A friend of Adi's from Vegas, who is originally from EC, told us they have the best pizza in town, so we tried it immediately & have been hooked ever since.

Har & I went around the neighborhood twice tonight! :)

I hope so too!
I was just outside with Maggie, no snow yet. I think it's going to start sometime over night, will continue throughout Saturday and into Sunday morning. We're just going to hunker down for the weekend.
That's a good plan.
A cozy weekend at home sounds perfect.
Hugs to you & Maggie.

I'm going to watch the end of the Islander game and then call it a night. Keeping all of you in my thoughts, hope everyone dealing with the wintry weather stays safe. See you in the morning, goodnight!

Enjoy the game!
Stay safe ❤️
Goodnight! Xo

Sounds delicious! I'll swing by your house on my way to prancers! ;) I doubt that I will be making anything tonight. We will probably grab a bite to eat around the lake before heading to the party at the sportsmans club. But tomorrow I am going to be smoking 2 turkey roasts (for friends) & on Sunday I am smoking a "bacon explosion" for my friend who had surgery yesterday & her family!
If you haven't seen what a bacon explosion is, check it out. It's totally sinful! That's why I'll make it to share! :D:p

I think I am in love...
You had me at bacon...explosion.

This was the Christmas dinner I made, prime rib wrapped in bacon. (I was so proud, that I made this)

Happy Friday everyone!! My Friday just go interesting. I had taken my daughter in on Wednesday to Urgent Care because she was complaining of her neck being sore and being hard to breathe and swallow. Rapid strep result came back negative, so the did a Mono test. That came back positive. We were given a prescription to help ease the swelling of her glands as she gets over Mono. Then I get a phone call today from the clinic saying that her strep culture came back negative! She looked really worn our yesterday (she went to school) and got up late today so I kept her home from school today. Kind of glad I did now, with that phone call from the clinic. The Mrs has family coming into town this weekend for a couple hockey games (They are from across the state.) Plus we were going to watch the local high school girls hockey game (My daughter wants to play hockey for them.) Guess my daughter isn't going to be going to the hockey games then. I'm not really positive I will be either. She is 13 (14 in March) and has a phone so she could get a hold of me if needed, but I'm not sure if I'll be comfortable leaving her at home alone.

On a positive note, my calf has gotten better each day. I ran a couple days ago and while it was still sore, I could run albeit at a much slower pace than I prefer, but I'm not pushing it. The heating pad at night has been helping.

To all our biddies ( Prancer :p) on the east coast, stay safe and warm. To everyone else not affected by storms this weekend, have a great weekend!!

Sean

I hope your daughter is feeling better

Being born and raised in EC myself, I whole-heartedly agree with your friend. We also really like Papa Murphy's pizza, although that is a take and bake pizza.

So now they're saying lol...5-10 inches of snow for my county. Sounds like we're gonna get a decent amount of snow on Saturday. A snowy Saturday...might as well take down the Christmas tree. Can't wait to go for a run in it.
Christmas trees and snow go together like peanut butter and jelly though.

Made a 16 pound turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, baked corn, dressing, Cole slaw, and a pumpkin roll. I'm tired and stuffed. I'll trade leftovers for someone doing the dishes. Lol!!

Stay safe everyone!!!
That sounds yummy!

I understand why, it's delicious!

I haven't had Papa Murphy's for years, we will have to try it again. Thanks for the tip!

Do you recommend any supper clubs in the area?

We don't generally go to supper clubs much, but here is what Volume one has for fine dining in EC:

I have eaten at Houligan's, Fuji, and Stella Blues. All are good. Stella Blues is the most reasonably priced one as of late. There's the View in Chippewa Falls that isn't too bad and Jake's Supper Club in Menomonie that's really good, a little on the high end price wise but not bad. Draganetti's is good for Italian food, but I was in high school when I ate there last so I didn't appreciate it. High Shores is also a place I've heard of, but I've never eaten there.

Fanny Hill was a good high end supper club, but they closed a couple years ago.

Good evening,

Another day at work that was pretty slow in customer traffic. I am jammed to the gills with product since I ordered extra for the major snowstorm that will not materialize in my neck of the world. Oh well, less I will have to order for the next week.
Just listening to some music, right now it is Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. I think this song has been forever altered for me by SNL, all I hear is the dang cowbell. :p
I am heading to bed, I don't know what to expect at work, we are suppose to get 1-3inches so it may be busy, it may not be. The chicken wings will be a big seller for football Sunday, so i can count on that at least.
Goodnight, everyone.

Thanks for the info.
We love Houligans & Fuji!
Draganetti's is good, too.
But we have yet to check out Stella Blues.

I regret not going to Fanny Hill, I heard it was amazing-the whole experience.
